A great place to take the family, walk around and learn about the property's history and about the people who owned and lived in the home and the folks that worked the land.
There is a sign at the front door that lists dates and times that they open the house for tours and viewing of the home.

Great gem of Arizona history preserved in south central Glendale. I wish I would have gotten a tour of the house pre-2020 because I don't know if they allow them these days although they still have postings on the porch, I haven't bothered to read long since.
(note to self: look up Glendale historical society)

Enter the parking lot on the west side of 51st Ave and ⅛ mile south of Northern.

It is free to enter the area during typically sunrise to sunset. There's a gate that's locked after hours. The home itself and barn is kept locked at all times and there's electronic surveillance. There's also a courtyard with antique farm equipment and orange trees professional photographers a license is required for such use.

You will typically see some sign of stray cat activity.

We took family photos here in 2020, and again this year. A beautiful piece of history in Glendale, I’d love to explore more one day when not taking pics. There’s a small parking lot, but always seems to be plenty of parking. Great backdrops for photos, highly recommend!
