Valerie is a great planner and always on top of things. She was our travel agent for a trip to New Zealand and she took all our preferences to heart and even recommended a few things to book on our own when she couldn't get them in her inventory. We did end up needing to use the travel insurance so I'm glad we took her advice on that!

When I planned on creating the most memorable vacation with my family, I only had the ideas. Up until I was introduced to a very patient and talented trip advisor. Valerie had all the right questions, astounding knowledge, and her dedication to help me fulfill the dream I was chasing. I had not been an avid traveler, she understood that and took it upon herself to break down every process to its simplicity. Everything from passport deadlines to weather, seasons, and region conditions!
Not only did she simplify everything, but when we embarked on our trip, it was like all we had to do was show up! Airport, resort, and excursion transportation were all set up! She created our liberty to go and execute our trip, without all the stress. She stayed connected, extended her help if we came across any issues. Her communication is top tier!
This was the best vacation my family and I have ever had, and we owe it all to the hard work Valerie poured out for us. I cannot wait to fill her in on our next trip, as I know she will go above and beyond to help create another beautiful memory!

I was fortunate enough to have been introduced to Valerie, and asked her to put together a trip for my husband and I for our honeymoon. We decided we wanted to go to Costa Rica and wanted some beach time, as well as some adventures more inland where the rainforests were. She booked us an amazing trip, filled with 5 star hotels and excursions to keep us happy, and busy. Everything went so smooth, and I HIGHLY recommend her if you're looking to book any travel. She made sure to have communication with us during our stay, and she had a team member that was local, who checked in with us periodically to make sure we didn't have any needs/requests. If you ever go to Costa Rica, I suggest staying at Amor Arenal. It was breathtaking, and had delicious foods, stellar service, and so much to do within the resort. We saw beautiful wildlife on our trails around the location, and had one of a kind views of La Fortuna Volcano. I'm so glad I used Valerie to book my honeymoon...and I'll continue to use her for every trip I book!

My vacation, organized by Valerie of Storymakers Travel, included everything one could hope for; beautiful scenery, meeting and getting to know fun and happy people, educational, delicious food, new experiences and adventure.
Valerie organized the entire hiking vacation in the Dolomites of Italy including hotel, an amazing guide, daily schedule and options, along with personal requirements such as passport and insurance option. She had recommendations of flights and costs and organized excursions (beyond the general hiking plans) for those who wanted to participate. Starting just over a year in advance of the trip, she began the flow of communication to all the travelers committed to the trip.
My trip was an amazing experience, worry-free and holds many lifetime memories.
Looking forward to my next trip, organized by Valerie, to Patagonia in 2026! Woohoo!

Valerie is awesome. She planned enough for us to get a great taste of two completely different areas of the country. This is the second trip we have had her plan for us, and both times she knocked it out of the park.
