Sad hotel in need of a remodel. It's a place to sleep but I definitely wouldn't stay here again. We arrived to a warm room, apparently housekeeping turns off the AC to save a nickel. With the sun shining right on our room it took till bedtime for it to finally cool off. Lots of people hanging around didn't do anything to make our stay feel very comfortable. The bathroom had water stains on the ceiling, and a hole on the wall. They do appear to be remodeling some rooms from what we saw. Trash around the dumpster was surprising, get a construction dumpster. It all made sense when we were checking out though.

The stack of mail on the counter of the front desk of people who don't live there anymore. Yup that's why this place is a dump and deserves the 1 star I gave it. It is a place to sleep but it certainly isn't a Quality inn.

Well, room was supposed to come with HBO and Showtime, no showtime. Room was supposed to have a microwave nope, and the refrigerator only worked if turned all the way up other wise it shut off. Room was open to the outside lower level back parking lot. The room was dark just one 3 foot wide floor to ceiling right next to the door. On the upside the day shift and night shift guys working the desk were awesome and fixed what they could. The room was really clean and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. Was in the room three days two nights total. Rearranged the table to be next to the window to work so all was well. For 80 dollars a night it was an exceptional room 🙂

Jeremie and the staff are amazing! They went beyond to add another day for us and at a great price. Pool was clean and refreshing! My room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is right on 95 so a nice meditation music to drown out some of the highway noise is suggested but completely manageable!

Good location. Nice updated lobby and friendly staff. Room was updated and clean but I was in a non smoking room but you could tell it use to be a smoking g room. It had that old smoke/nicotine in the drywall smell. It was rough...especially in the bathroom. None of the furniture smelled like smoke, it was 8n the walls. That is hard to get rid of without ripping the drywall out. The other issue is that it appears there are people living in the back building, not just staying there. Cars coming and going all night. It didn't keep me up, I am a light sleeper, but it was something I noticed when I was awake. All in all, a good value for the price...but God did that smoke stink

My room was very clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was great and their lounge area had ample room where guests could sit and eat comfortably. The inn is located conveniently near the airport with stores nearby at walking distance.

Let me begin by saying I booked it because it was on a budget. The other options were in $200-300s in New Haven. Only after booking it non refundable I read all yall reviews and I prayed for a good outcome.

It turned out lovely. Really quick drive over the bridge. Front desk staff were all lovely, had to communicate with them on a few occasions and all were pleasant and just awesome especially heavy set gentleman on a night shift.
I did ask for an inside room (non smoking) but forgot to specify the non highway side. So I ended up on an inside room with windows facing the main entrance as well as the highway. Generally, Im not a picky traveler as long as everything works we're good.

The room is non smoking for sure (im very sensitivie and start getting headaches if I smell smoke). The double beds were comfy and clean (I made sure to check it before i settled in). I was able to open the window slightly to air out the morning wake up smell, which is a luxury in modern hotels where they are dead bolted. There was very minimal lighting in a room but thats looks like for every other hotel as well. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. There was the usual iron, coffee maker, as well as microwave!!! And a good size fridge!!!! Thank you Quality Inn!! This made it magical, people dont realize how much that changes your life away from home. Bathroom was good size, clean with enough towels and toiletries. The toilet ran a bit when someone else was flushing somewhere but it wasnt loud, just weird. Beds were comfy and had enough pillows. I was able to switch aircon to heat and that was heavenly as i always freeze in rooms (if you like cold it was perfectly set to cool when I walked in).

Now for the highway. Yes you could hear it but more as a white noise reather than honking and gerking. I did wake up a few times at night but that could be because I slept with my tv on, oops my own fault. I had such a pleasant experience in a room that I forgot to check out the gym facilities but they had them. The room is outdated for sure but who cares if it sleeps nicely and clean, and gets you sane and relaxed.

Now breakfast. Thank you for offering one as it might be the only option for people. But if you have othe options go for that. Very tiny selection but understandble if they dont have lots of ppl staying to save on costs. The scrambled eggs felt chemical I would have opted for boiled eggs with ketchup. The beef patty looked ghostly sick, just skipped that all together. The juices were orange and apple but had been watered down with ice cubes. There was a 2 selection of cereals, as well as waffle maker (did not try it). Coffee and tea machine only. As well a muffin/bagel selection from a packaged box (similar to eggs) and some fruits (bananas were a bit green to where I couldnt even open it easily so I left it alone).

With all that being said, Im so glad how it turned out. Lovely staff, conviniences and leaving feeling rested and ready to get on a move again. This will be homebase next time Im in the area. And you cant beat the price. Thank you guys!

It's not the most luxurious hotel in the world for sure. But, If you're looking for a decent place to stay for just one night, and you don't want to break the bank, it's a good place to stay. Some parts of the hotel do appear to be a little sketchy, but My room was clean, quiet, and I was able to get some good rest.

Microwave didn’t work and same with the fridge in the room. Bed was okay and same with cleanliness. Something that did bother me was being woken up at 9:30am by our door being opened. We were happy we had the door stopper over the door because we would have been walked in on. There was no knock or anything, it was quite scary. Still have no idea who it was, hoping it was just room service and if it was, unsure of why they wouldn’t knock before trying to enter especially if the blinds were closed and the door had a do not disturb sign on it.
