Michael was amazing to work with! From the engagement shoot to the time of the wedding he was so easy to communicate with. As the wedding got closer and i was making last minute switches he was so flexible and happy to accommodate. I cannot believe how beautifully he captured our special day. I find myself continuously looking through the album reliving every moment of the day that was so perfectly captured. We can’t recommend Michael enough and are so thankful we chose him to photograph one of the most important days of our lives!

We hired Michael Orzell to photograph our wedding back in July (2024), and opted for his Love package (included engagement photos, wedding photos, wedding album). I cannot say enough about how wonderful of an experience we got. From the initial call, Mike was incredibly patient, helpful, and thorough. He made suggestions and ideas that I would have never thought of, and went above and beyond in helping me plan/execute the most wonderful day.

He was super helpful in guiding my husband and I through the engagement session so we could have great, natural true essence shots. We got to have multiple outfit changes and locations. He got the photos back to us in a timely manner, and was very open to editing them as desired.

During the wedding, he captured the day, timeline, and important people in my life just as I had pictured, and in most cases, even better. He really shines at capturing couples in natural, candid moments, and my guests could not say enough good things about him, and the previews we got to see shortly after the wedding.

He went above and beyond in making my 4th of July wedding theme dream come true, with a final hour delivery of smoke bombs so we could capture my husband and I in front of red, white and blue clouds. He also was professional but fun, and got out on the dance floor to capture some incredible action photos of our guests dancing.

He delivered the wedding photos when he said he would, and then moved on to crafting the wedding album of my dreams. He answered every edit and request within 24/48 hours. Once we finalized the album, he got it sent out within a week, and the quality was far superior than I had been anticipating.

Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Mike; and look forward to future opportunities to work with him again as our family grows. Highly recommend.

my husband used Michael during his proposal for me and we absolutely fell in love with his work! Fast forward to the wedding and we knew without a doubt that we had to have Michael be there on our wedding day. He made the whole process, super stress-free and enjoyable from start to finish. from the minute, he got there from the minute he left he did not fail to capture anything. He got everything from the first luck with my dad to the end of the night of us crowd surfing. We just got our photos back and we are incomplete all over how beautiful they are, Couldn’t be more happy with them. He brought along Jack, his second shooter, and they both worked together to get all the action, details, and wedding party shots! My husband Bobby and I have worked in the wedding industry for years now -- we are both professional musicians, and I am also a professional florist. Between the two of us, we've probably worked 250+ weddings. We've seen it all -- the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. We hired Mike Orzell for our own wedding (8/9/19) and he is by far the best photographer that we've ever worked with.
Mike was amazing from start to finish. We first booked him because we liked the work featured on his website (especially all the candid shots) and he seemed like a really nice guy, which he absolutely is. He went out of his way to learn as much as possible about us as a couple and what we were looking for in capturing the event.
The day of the wedding, Mike brought a joyful energy to his work and made everyone feel comfortable. Through the family portraits he kept everyone in our families organized (and we both have big families!) and he kept the mood light.
We couldn't have been happier with the way the photos turned out. He was really able to capture the JOY of the day through the emotions on everyone's faces. His action shots of the ceremony and our first dance were amazing, and his candids were spectacular. Everyone looks good in all of them.

Mike was the best of the best! Not only are his photos amazing but he was the easiest person to work with. His wedding experience definitely shows when working with him! He always replied quickly to emails/ texts and made the planning process super easy! He came up with great ideas/ poses for the engagement shoot and made us comfortable being in front of the camera which prepared us for the wedding day!
The day of the wedding he showed up on time and ready to capture every moment. He got through my photo lists of about 50 combinations of different people in no time, which I didn’t think we would have time for! He was also running around during the reception to make sure he got a picture of every guest we had! Mike got all the best angles and was super fun to work with!
