Thank you Jared! Jared hand curated a tour for my 23 year old son on a trip to NYC. He really took the time to get our interests before planning with us as to what sites he wanted to show. I had visited begin and wanted to get some history on the lower manhattan area. We went to the high line, Hudson yards, Wall Street and also took my first subway! I really loved my 3-hour, private guided tour through Central Park with Jared! He’s a fantastic storyteller with a deep knowledge of New York City history which made for endless anecdotes and fun facts. His knowledge is vast and he was very accommodating of any requests we had. Jared is hands down the best tour guide at the MET. I’ve experienced a group of adults or brought kids and he customizes the tour to exactly what you want on any time constraint. He’s a great storyteller, an expert in the museum all while being fun, engaging and relatable. I’ll never do the MET without Jared.

I've been fortunate to have Jared as my NYC Tour Guide for several student tours (usually 30-45 middle schoolers). He's a delightful storyteller and we always come away knowing a lot more than we arrived knowing.

I want to mention one tour in particular. It was a smaller group with a special interest in Broadway and the Arts, and when we met Jarod they requested an impromptu LGBTQ Greenwich Village tour. He was more than accommodating; he was stellar! My students were overjoyed to have that experience and many felt connected to the history we learned that afternoon. At the end of our time in NYC the GV tour was mentioned as one of the highlights of the entire trip (and the trip included workshops with Tony Award winners, tickets to numerous shows, and tours of famous theaters).

You can't go wrong with Jared as your guide. He's knowledgeable, personable, has a great sense of humor, and has always been flexible with what my groups want. Highly recommend! 🙂
