I booked a private sunset charter for my husband's 30th birthday. I wanted a special experience for his milestone birthday and came across NYCbySEA on Google. Mike was absolutely amazing throughout the process - right from the communication prior to booking where he answered all the questions I had, to his very gracious cancellation policy and accommodations in case of weather changes, and his directions the day of (it's near a mall so it is convenient to use the restroom prior to getting on the boat). And ofc, the experience itself - what an incredible way to see NYC! It wasn't our first time visiting the city but it was certainly the most unique perspective. And we were blessed with clear skies and a gorgeous sunset - looked stunning. Mike gave us very interesting history facts about various buildings, took photos (he knew the good spots for a photo op) and checked in to make sure everything was going well. There was also music playing which set a really nice vibe. Overall, this was a special, unique experience - and my husband said it was his favourite part of the birthday trip 🙂 Thanks Mike!

My fiancé and I took a private tour with Mike as our captain. Mike was amazing and very knowledgeable about monuments and the architecture of the buildings. He also took amazing photos of my fiancé and I even as the boat swayed from the small waves. Mike made the experience very memorable and fun. I would definitely go back again with friends and family.

We had the greatest time. Our host Mike, was a great communicator for finding him and the boat. (Really wonderful location, you can grab lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants nearby too) He took us all over. He offered us bits of history & info, as we asked. He was really nice and just made the trip really enjoyable. When we return to NYC, we are definitely going to want him to take us out on his boat again. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic experience with NYCbySEA. Captain Mike was very responsive and accommodating when planning our tour. Captain Will was a great guide, very informative and funny. We saw the Statue of Liberty, Ellis island, and all the bridges and boroughs. Best way to see NYC!

Rain could not ruin this wonderful experience. I was born and raised in NY city and to see the city from this perspective was nothing short of amazing. Amazing trip ! Amazing tour! Thank you Mike. We were 6 people (3 couples) on the boat, very luxurious very private and intimate. The captain explained everything touristic to us, the history, the location etc. He stopped at several locations to make photos, and he himself made the photos for each couple with everyone’s own phone or camera. That was very sweet. We got fantastic views and perfect trip. 10 stars from us. Recommend to everyone. It’s worth $ the money. Plus, the owner was very accommodating, we were almost late for our 13:30 tour so we called from taxi and he said he would wait for us. Luckily we were on time. Thank you for that indeed !
