Chris was an amazing guide/host! He took care of every detail! This was our first trip to the Grand Canyon and it did not disappoint! Not only did we see the beauty of the Grand Canyon Chris explained the history and geology of the area. He took care of every detail regarding lunch and our entire day. He planned the trip to perfection and made our first trip memorable!

My wife and I had an uber fabulous 7+ hour private tour along the south rim of the canyon on a picture perfect day 10 days ago that included minimal visitors, enabling stops and short hikes at numerous scenic overlooks.
Chris Kelly provided numerous vignettes that enhanced the overall experience and ensured that we were first in line for an amazing lunch (price included) at the historic El Tovar lodge.
I highly encourage you to consider a private tour from this firm instead of any other option for this possible once in a lifetime visit.

We had the pleasure of having Mark as our tour guide. He was well informed as well as hilarious. This experience was so awesome. We went around Grand Canyon National Park, then had a delicious dinner at El Tovar! The sights were amazing, as Mark was showing us the best spots.

Chris was amazing! Myself and 3 girlfriends spent the day with Chris learning all about the history and interesting facts about the Grand Canyon. We felt safe the entire time, and the amount of knowledge Chris has on GC (as well as Sedona) was extremely impressive. As a local, Chris knew where the best locations were to take photos. When we arrived for lunch, Chris knew everyone at the restaurant and we were greeted + seated immediately. Whether it's your 1st time visiting the GC or not, I HIGHLY recommend the private tour day-long tour with Chris. Because it was a private tour and only our group, we didn't feel rushed if we wanted to stay longer at a certain site or skip something in order to spend more time at a different location (or peruse the gift shops a little longer). Thank you Chris for an amazing day!

We had a fantastic time on the Grand Canyon Day Tour. Nina was a fantastic tour guide. She somehow made one of the busiest days of the year at the Grand Canyon feel intimate. Her knowledge of not only the Grand Canyon, but Flagstaff and Sedona, was second to none. Lunch at El Tavor was outstanding. Vehicle was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. Without hesitation would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more private, intimate experience away from the crowds. Money well spent.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews below? We booked our private Grand Canyon tour with Grand Canyon Journeys after several months of internet research. To say it didn’t disappoint is an understatement. Our guide Cory was simply amazing. He is smart, funny, personable, and accommodating in every manner. The discussion on the trip was pleasurable and educational. Lunch at El Tavor was great with a corner window view booked and ready overlooking the Grand Canyon. Vehicle was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. Without hesitation would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more private, intimate experience away from the crowds.

We used GCJ for a full day trip to the Grand Canyon from Sedona. Everything in the process was smooth and easy. Our tour guide Corey was amazing. Corey is a true lover of the Canyon and it showed. We learned so much from Corey, from history to geology - all with a friendly and positive attitude about his job. Highly recommend GCJ - and ask for Corey if you can.
