I was charged for the tour even though I was a go City pass holder. They ask online for credit card “supposedly to charge you if you don’t show up to the tour” which we did! As soon as I saw the next day that I was charged for it I called them immediately and “No answer” called the whole day! Sent text messages! Send an email! And no answer and it went on like that for consecutive days!! Until 4 days after I was finally able to get in touch with somebody who tells me I cannot be refunded because my City pass was no longer active…..HAD THEY ANSWER THEY FIRST DAY I CALLED everything would have been fine. Obviously I realize they did it on purpose! They not only charge me for the tour but charged me for taxes twice!! Therefore think about it before booking it and putting a card information on their website!!

Went on the Marvel/DC Superhero walking tour. Was a pretty bad time and quite dissapointing for the following reasons.

- More like a standing tour. Only 3 stops between the start and finish with REALLY long periods of standing (up to 30 minutes) in the freezing cold.
- Misleading advertising. Was more of a comic book history tour with new york landmarks thrown in.
- Really poorly planned. The content was bloated and packed with irrelevant information to the locations to stretch the time out. It felt like very little effort had been made considering so much of New York is home to famous shots from super hero films.

All in all, for the price it felt like an enormous rip off and would suggest steering clear of this company.

Sadly I am still waiting since December 2024 for the refund from topdog we booked the Greenwich Ghost tour I was charged £32.49 using my bank card whilst booking the tour we had the city passes plus extra booking fee we explained to the guide when we arrived she phoned her boss who assured us the money would be refunded, an earlier post mentioned something similar I’ve tried several times to email messages bounce back unsent shame on you topdog tours

Was charged $40 to reschedule! I booked same day and wasn’t able to make it due to an Event going on which caused extra traffic, delays, and street closures etc (UN or something). I called after waiting 40 mins for a bus that never arrived to reschedule. I wanted to do the next day instead since we weren’t going to be able to make it in time. When I called, the lady said I needed to do it 48 hours beforehand. How is that possible if I had just booked it? 48 hour notice is impossible when it was just booked. I was still charged $40 to reschedule on top of the full ticket price which is BS.

Don’t do it!!! Sounded like a fun tour but we ultimately decided not to go and per the website you have two days to cancel for full refund but when we called to cancel the lady on the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE and confused us with another customer and when she figured out we hadn’t talked to her she still didn’t change her tune. She continued to be rude and condescending and denied us our refund even though we canceled 53 hours earlier versus the 2 days/48 hr cancellation. I’ve never dealt with someone this miserable… if this is your business this is no way to run it and if she(the person who answers when you call) is just an employee FIRE HER! She will tank your business. We still cancelled the tour and she will not send the cancellation receipt. Probably because we said we would dispute since we followed the terms in the contract and she will probably send it after the 48hrs past. Not HAPPY.

We went on a ghost tour recently and had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Gabby was very knowledgeable and brought us to some very interesting paranormal spots.

The Greenwich night tour with Kathy was super entertaining and fun. We could learn a lot about NYC and got great impressions everywhere.
A tour with Kathy is highly recommended.

I was in NYC for a full week with two teen agers aged 17 and 18 and a half. On the flight back to Europe I asked them both, separately, which of the many activities included in our Go-City pass they'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time and the answers were the Greenwich Village at Night Tour, along with the City Harbour cruise at sunset; the view from The One, WTC; and the High Line. We probably used the pass for 20-30 attractions, including 5-6 walking guided tours. I am in my 50s and also deeply appreciated the tour and our guide Brianna, who was knowledgeable, fun and managed to captivate two sometimes grumpy teen agers.
I can only recommend TopDog Tours, their Greenwich Village at Night Tour and, in particular, Brianna.
