Hands down one of the best ways to enjoy New York Harbor. I'm a local, and I spend lots of weekends on the water: There's nothing that can top Tribeca Sailing, which has the perfect combination of privacy, exclusivity, and charm. Took a 1 hr. private charter thru Tribeca Sailing on The Tara with Captain Dave just this week. We had an unseasonably sunny, 80 degree day for the end of October. Couldn’t have asked for better weather & a light wind out on The Hudson that allowed for us to truly sail the entire hour. Learned a couple interesting facts pertaining to the Manhattan area on our sail. The Tara is a beautiful vessel with a wonderful Captain at the helm! We’re planning to take friends out next summer & share this experience with them. If you’re looking for a wonderful sailing experience-Tribeca Sailing & Captain Dave is the one to go with!

My brother and I booked a 2 hour private sail for my dad's 60th birthday since he has always been an avid sailor. We had a great time sailing on the bay with Captain Clark, saw some beautiful views of Manhattan and of the Statue of Liberty, and all 3 of us even got a turn at the helm steering the boat. Highly recommended both for sailing enthusiasts and for casual non-sailors who are just looking for a fun way to see the city from the water.

We had an amazing experience with Captain Clark on the Tara yesterday evening. Despite a bleak weather forecast, we were able to motor out to the Statue of Liberty to experience it up close under dramatic skies! Captain Clark then was able to raise the sails and take us over to the mouth of the East river past Governor’s Island. It was exhilarating with the crazy wind and just a wonderful way to see the city from aboard a classic 1960s sailboat! 13/10 would heartily endorse!

We had an absolutely amazing time sailing with Captain David and six of us (3 adults and 3 kids who love sailing). Gorgeous day and nothing beats experiencing New York City on the Hudson. David let each of the kids sail for a bit which they absolutely loved and was hands down the highlight of their NYC trip! Definitely recommend a 2hr sail with David on wonderful Tara.

The most incredible experience, I’m so glad we made time for this during our trip to New York. Captain Thomas was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and all the other boats on the water. It was truly gorgeous at sunset and we were in awe over the views. The boat was well maintained and just such a cool experience overall.

I was showing my Italian friend New York for his first time and so last minute I decided to splurge and hire a sail boat to see the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson. It was such a wonderful experience and worth every penny. The boat, Tara, is beautiful and David was such a hospitable and knowledgeable Skipper. Quality person. I highly recommend.
