Great place to keep your boat.

The "Old Spicers" was great! John G. and staff all very helpful and genuine. Fees were appropriate and they did a great deal of work for me over the years. New company takes over and does a 180 degree turn. Added items to spring commissioning invoice which I never had on boat nor did I ask for. Bottom paint was terrible! It peeled at water line the first week in water which shows zero prep work on their part. Charged me for rudder zincs which my boat never had nor did I ask for, plus one hour for installation - for something which was never on the boat! Billed one hour to replace transom zinc which consists of two nuts. One hour? Really?!!! Billed one hour to turn on two refrigerators!!!! The list goes on an on. What formerly cost around $1k for spring commissioning is now close to 2K, courtesy of new ownership. Sent three emails in attempt to address concerns yet not one responded. Very poor communication. I understand they had managing issues but this is just totally unacceptable. It's really too bad. Was a great place.

I love it! They have solid concrete docks. The place is clean, the bathrooms.were just redone. Only gripe is there was a boat sticking out 20 ft past the dock making it difficult to maneuver my sailboat in and out of the slip.

Clean Neat, helpful. Our kayak was swamped inside the boat yard by a boat with a motor. We swam a good portion back to shore when someone at the dock saw us. They sent out a boat and helped us to shore. They even went back out to grab my hat. I was so grearful.

Quick access to Long Island / Fishers Island Sound from a slip or mooring. Docks are well maintained with all the expected amenities. Parking is provided for customers. Shuttle service provided to moorings. Repair facilities are available and outside contractors may be used. Cabins are also available for those who prefer to stay on land. Although boating is never cheap, prices are reasonable. A very well run business.
