Don’t waste your money . 3 main problems with this group. Diversity and inclusion, vetting current members for relationship status and women to men ratio. This group was reformed a couple years ago due to a number of issues that can not be put on this review. I don’t know what the name of it was before but definitely do you research before going forward with any payments or anything for this particular organization. Join a group where it is free to meet singles because the demographic of women versus men is definitely outnumbered its a lot of women. In Atlanta as far as diversity and inclusion wise. There is no people of color leading any events. I have experienced a lot of racist things from Caucasian members. When I communicated to E&A what the problems were, they didn’t take any action as far as being able to give me money off of my membership because if I don’t feel comfortable in this group, I shouldn’t have to pay the rest the remainder because y’all are not accommodating or addressing certain issues. I also found out that some male members that are already in relationships, but also coming to the events as if they are single.

If you’re going for strictly the adventures, I wouldn’t suggest that either because of the some of the leaders for the group events did not follow up with people that are actually new to the organization so you have to do a lot to find out who the leader was because they weren’t reaching out to people . Some of the events are falsely advertised as far as the silks. It was advertised that everyone will have their own silks we end up having to share. I don’t understand why if you have to pay extra price. Some events are not confirmed before arriving that would be discussed/ discovered until being there for 30-45 minutes.

Events and Adventures and their events have been one of my favorite things to do recently. I look forward to going to any event they have, and they have a lot to choose from.The event manager and E&A corperate do a great job on putting on and planning different events so there’s just about anything for everyone. From outdoor walks/hikes, weekday or weekend dinners, escape rooms, trivia, day or weekend trips they have it. So many options for things in the town I’ve lived in my whole life and never got to see! I’ve gotten to meet so many folks I can call friends now through this group and had so much fun while doing it. It is so easy to talk to people with the casual atmosphere at these events that makes creating friendships or relationships much easier! Plus the group is ever growing so you meet new people all the time! If you want to just get out there, meet people, and do fun things E&A is for you if you’ve just moved to the area or been in the area your whole life!

As a single lady for years, I joined E&A at the beginning of 2024. I have made so many new friends and even found a boyfriend! The laid back atmosphere and options for an event everyday of the week is amazing for singles in the big city!! No more sitting at home waiting for friends to be available!! Sign up and get out there!!

I joined E&A Atlanta a year ago and I couldn't be happier! Yes, it's a little pricey to get a membership, but it's totally worth it! I've gotten to do so many things I wouldn't have done on my own or couldn't find people to go with, such as many hikes and holiday trips that have been planned for long weekends as well as many different activities around the city. I have so many new friends because of this group that I would never have met if I didnt join this club, after high school and college a lot of my school friends moved away or got extremely busy but now I dont have to worry. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

Definitely a bit expensive, but the price is well worth it in my opinion. Speaking strictly from a financial stand point for myself, joining was a bad decision. But if I could go back, I think the only thing I'd so different would be to use a different credit card and get some miles haha. I wouldn't trade the experiences and connections I've gained for anything!! It's only a waste of money if you join and never participate, because there are plenty of events that are free. I have had so many fantastic experiences and met countless great people. There is zero pressure to do anything, and it is so easy to talk to people because you already know at least something you have in common. There are events for literally any type of interest, plus if something you like isn't something you see on the calendar often, you can make suggestions as well. But we do all kinds of things from casual dinners, to trivia nights, to cooking classes, to virtual DnD, to hikes, to bar crawls, to vinyard tours, plus something called fowling (which is a LOT of fun and I never would have heard of it without joining). Plus, there are even international trips, I'm getting my passport tomorrow then hopefully I can save up the money to go with E&A to either Belize or Scotland next year!!

I have been a member of E&A for over five years. The best thing about this club is that everyone is there with the same idea, to make friends and have a good time, so it takes a lot of pressure off of meeting new people. When there is a common bond or goal, you automatically have an ice breaker. My circle of friends has more than tripled and have made a handful of life-long friends who, even after their memberships have ended, our friendship hasn’t. We’ve traveled, laughed and jumped in feet first. I can’t emphasize the impact joining E&A has had on me. I am the happiest I’ve ever been and really learning more about myself as I step out of my comfort zone. Worth every penny.

I just moved to Atlanta a year ago and I only had a few friends from work and a few friends I knew prior to moving, and now I have so many new friends because of this group. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!
