We can't say enough good things about Homestead! We rented the cottage for a pre-wedding gathering for the bride to get dressed and ready for her big day. Antonio and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The unit was cozy and spacious enough for the bride and her ladies to get dressed for the wedding on New Milford Bandstand. Every detail was absolutely perfect and magical. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of pampering and coziness.

My sister and I finally fulfilled our long-time dream of a "Gilmore Girls" trip, and The Homestead Inn was the perfect choice. We stayed in the Stars Hollow Room, which was beautifully decorated with actual props from the set of the show, adding a magical touch to our experience.

The location of the inn is unbeatable, placing us right in the heart of charming New Milford. The service was absolutely fantastic, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

We came to New Milford to spend Thanksgiving with extended family. We stayed in the Boardman Room. The Homestead Inn was a perfect place for us to stay: beautifully decorated, comfortable, with an excellent hot breakfast. We also appreciated the always-available coffee and tea in the breakfast room. Antonio went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had lots of suggestions for things to do in the area.

We stayed here two nights as part of a New England road trip from Colorado! We loved our stay. Antonio was so nice and friendly and gave us some great recommendations for food and Gilmore Girls related visits! We found out we were so close to the Appalachian Trail too so we hiked a bit of the Ten Mile section (only 15 min away)! The breakfast was delicious and the room was so comfy and clean. We stayed with the Boardman Room. The location is perfect and very walkable. We ate on Bank street most of the time! We will definitely be back!

It was a short notice trip to CT at the height of the Christmas rush. We were so well cared for by Antonio and Sandra. The (Newton) room and service were outstanding. We certainly will stay at the Homestead again. We were able to make a wonderful Christmas for our Grand kids, who live nearby.

The Stars Hollow room definitely added to our Gilmore Girls experience. A lot of thought went into the decor of the inn. The staff was fabulous. The breakfast was great and the chef accommodated special dietary requests. I would definitely recommend staying here!

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Monroe room. Although we were disappointed the room did not include the towels shaped into swans, we did enjoy the huge king bed and the delightful jacuzzi. The breakfast was far from continental, but we were provided a good variety to help us get through the day. We had access to tea and coffee throughout the entire day, as well as little chocolates spread throughout the inn. Parking was easy, and stores and restaurants were accessible by taking a short walk into town. Overall a great stay at such a quaint little inn. We loved our Gilmore Girls weekend! 5 out of 5.

Lovely Inn nestled at the Top of the Green! We really enjoyed our weekend stay exploring the CT countryside. Antonio was very hospitable and made us feel right at home!! We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to go back again soon!!
