I am extremely grateful for the care Home Instead gave my aunt during the last few years of her life. I don’t know if it is the hiring process they used or that they just have an instinct for choosing good people—though I imagine it is a combination of both. It was difficult for me, living 500 miles away and able to only visit two- or three-times a year, so I really needed people I could trust. But what impressed me most was the relationships each of them had with my aunt; they treated her with love and respect, as if she was part of their own family.

We were clients of Home Instead in Middletown for almost 2 years caring for my husband with Multiple Sclerosis. There are so many positive things to say about the staff and care givers. The most important ones are caring, punctual, attentive, and ended up feeling more like members of our family. When my husband had a bad day or needed to go to the ER, the staff helped me get him there and stayed until we knew whether he was going to be discharged or admitted. They were just as concerned about me as they were about him. They also took training and learned ways to help make him keep moving and muscles strong. I can't thank them enough for their thoughtfulness and support. I highly recommend them.
