The heat didn’t work in my room. They serve the same reheated slop every morning for breakfast. The only good thing was that all the roaches moved fairly slow due to the cold room temperature. The men at the front desk were nice enough but the girls doesn’t want bothered. She caused me to be late for work. I told her my room key wouldn’t work and I needed in my room, she proceeded to screw around and start doing dishes at which point I told her I was going to be late. It took her 15 minutes to get me a room key. Unless you like bugs, slop food and bugs…stay somewhere else.

Comfort Inn may want to rethink advertising as "100% smoke free". The entire building, especially the hallways and elevator REEKED of weed. It was absolutely disgusting and triggered my asthma. We had to change rooms because the smell/smoke was so bad in the hallway that it seeped under the door and stunk up our entire room. The new room was only slightly better. Both rooms were extremely outdated, dirty, and absolutely NOT worth the $187 price we were charged for one of the weekend nights. Carpets were filthy, bathroom lights were extremely dim and had dead bugs inside the light fixture, bathroom floor was dirty, curtains were ripped and hanging off the rod. The only reason we stayed here is it was the closest hotel to family. Would not recommend this place at all. Absolutely disappointing and disgusting. BEWARE!

My car was severely dented by this hotel's dumpster gate while I stayed there in August, and I still haven't been compensated. I called the police, and they filed a report confirming this. When I spoke to the hotel manager, she had me fill out paperwork so their insurance could compensate us, but I haven't heard back since. I have called the hotel over 10 times since August but haven't been able to speak with the manager. Each time, the staff says the manager will call back, but she never has. I've filed a case with Comfort Inn headquarters and filed a complaint with the BBB, and the hotel has denied responsibility for the damage. Terrible treatment of customers.

So originally the place seemed good. However, on my 2nd day I arrived back to my room and turned on the lights there were roaches crawling around. I immediately packed what few belongings that I had already unpacked, put them in my car and went to the desk and explained my situation and that I wanted a partial refund for my unused time that I definitely was not staying for due to room conditions being unsanitary. The "manager" Elianna explained that I needed to call the 3rd party that I used to book the room so she could issue the refund, so I did. The next day Expedia sent me an emailing saying that the hotel denied the claim. Now suddenly when I call the hotel there's no manager there. So here I am. Posting the pictures and video of roaches in their "clean and newly renovated " hotel.

My stay at Comfort Inn Naugatuck was overall a positive and satisfying experience. I found the rooms to be impeccably clean with light and bright natural decor which was a nice change from other hotel experiences where the decor was always dark and depressing. The comfort inn is bright, and my room filled with natural light if I choose so it always felt positive and homelike. The rooms are very large, and housekeeping is helpful and timely in offering assistance each morning.

A satisfying breakfast is available each morning that offered a variety of options to start my day right. The staff were exceptional, with Christine standing out as particularly personable and helpful. She was always available to assist with any questions I had, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. She always went out of her way to assist happily, even when it meant stopping another task in order to ensure guest needs were given priority.

Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would not hesitate to stay at Comfort Inn Naugatuck again in the future.

I am not sure why they are taking pictures of people’s debit cards in 2024 but they are and when I asked to have the copy destroyed or given to me upon check out… they said it was the night audit rules. This was no where in writing… on top of that there were ashes in my room, the hall way and room smelled like smoke and one of the beds in my room looked dirty and hand crumbs in it… 👀

Who puts a hold on your card two days after you check out? 🤦🏾‍♀️

I liked nothing about this property
• I paid 140 for a room check in at 3p my reservation was until 11 am the next day when I tried to check in they told me my reservation was on the no show list and was given to someone else. I also lost my money because I checked in late when I paid to reserve my room until the next day this has never happened at other hotels.

Positive: "" Negative: The temperature unit in the romm did not work properly. Without air flow the romm smelt. The breakfast needs a lot of improvement. This hotel got to be 2 stars not 2.5 stars.
