Great service! The lady there was really nice and social. And made sure we knew where it was safe to go down the river. Price for 2 hours is better since Kayaking can be a bit slow, unless you plan to never stop paddling relax and look around. My wife and I had a good time. NOTE: bring a cellphone bag with toy to protect your phone from falling into the river. Also wear a hat to avoid headaches due to the sun. And also water-shoes, since water can get into the Kayak.

The best time ever!!!! Highly recommend taking one of their kayaks or paddle boards out for a spin!!! It was my first time and the instructor/owner, Laura made me feel so confident and comfortable teaching me how to do everything before pushing me out onto the river. We were able to either go right passing the seaport museum, going under the mystic drawbridge or left, looking at all the nice yachts parked along the water, and go for a nice swim past the train bridge! What a great experience if you’ve never done this before. Prices are super reasonable and definitely a must if you’re just visiting mystic and looking for something fun to do! I went with my best friend and it will be a memory made forever for both of us.

My group of friends visited Mystic for the weekend and came to Blue Heaven to rent for a couple of hours. The staff was so warm and easy going. They gave us a parking tip that made the rest of the day easier. They also sell some local art which was great. Our launch in and out was super easy and we had assistance. Can’t recommend this place enough. They had the most reasonable prices for the area. Will definitely be going there again if I come back to mystic in the future.

Great experience overall, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They even gave us complimentary sunscreen and dry bags to keep our stuff dry! We rented the kayaks for 4 1/2 hours and went out towards the ocean to explore the various islands, it was a blast.

My 1st time kayaking! Although I was a bit bumpy at first trying to figure it out, once I got the hang of it, the experience was awesome. I went on the 4th of July which is a hard day for me as my Mom passed away in 2018 on this date. The weather was warm, the skies stayed sunny after a brief sprinkle and it was extremely peaceful to me on this tough day. I will def be back!

Blue Heaven Kayak made our trip to Mystic so perfect.
They helped us find a kayak that would work with our dog who had never been in a boat before. They were so flexible and we appreciated the extra effort to get us out on the water.
The location is perfect with free parking and easy launch right from the back - just drove up and we were in the water in less than 10 minutes. Wonderful!

Great place, great time! I had a large party of 14 people surprising my wife for her birthday. Owner was very responsive and helpful in arranging the rentals, parking, and helping pull off the surprise. On the day of, the staff (Adele and another young man whose name I did not get) were very pleasant and helpful setting us up with the kayaks and life jackets. The tour of the river was beautiful. I would recommend folks to try to work this in when visiting Mystic.
