What a find! My husband and I stayed at Stonecroft Country Inn for our honeymoon this past January, and we can't say enough good about it! Jodi and Scott are wonderful. They are attentive, very kind, and extremely helpful. They were kind enough to allow us to have our wedding pictures done on their property which was the perfect backdrop! We can't thank them enough for that! Scott is a great cook and was kind enough to cater to my gluten free diet! Our room was wonderful! It was cozy, beautiful, and spacious. I added the chocolate covered strawberries and roses to our stay, and they were both available upon our check in. The strawberries were also delicious! I also want to include that we checked in past the check in time, and they made it very easy and simple for us to retrieve our key and get into our room on our own without a hitch. Thank you, Jodi, Scott and their sweet pup for making our honeymoon such a wonderful experience full of memories to last us a lifetime. We hope to visit again soon!

I reserved three rooms in the 1807 House on the Stonecroft grounds. Every room was unique, special, welcoming and interesting. The 1807 House has the special ambience and charm of a country inn with a distinct history and style. Our party thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and the innkeepers hospitality. Jodie and Scott are wonderful hosts, attentive to all details. The breakfasts are excellent, and my wife's vegan preferences were met. In short, everything was great about the Stonecroft! Definitely worthy of a visit if you're in the Mystik area ... only an easy ten minutes from restaurants and attractions there. The inn's location is also very quiet, set back far from a country road.

The inn was quaint and just so cute. The innkeeper immediately welcomed us and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Since we stayed in the off season, a lot of the amenities weren't available, but I can see that it would be a lot of fun to stay during the summer. It was also nice and close to everything we wanted to do, while also feeling like it was secluded and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Scott and Jodie were wonderfuls hosts. Our room was very good and the breakfast was delightful. First time having 'corn pancakes' which apparently is a PA specialty. Room was quiet and clean. Location is good for Mystic visits.

This was a very charming and picturesque Inn. My husband and I were in the area for a few days for a wedding at the Johnathan Edwards Winery. The property has two options to stay in, The 1807 House and the Yellow Barn. We stayed in the Sarah Master Suite on the top floor of the Yellow Barn. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jodie and the family Goldendoodle. As dog lovers this was a very nice welcoming. Our accommodations included a beautiful California king bed, private balcony with a table and chairs, huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, and a gas fireplace in the room with two wingback chairs to sit in and enjoy the fire. Even though there were other guests around, we never heard them, it was so quiet. The breakfast was delicious and started with fresh made muffins, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit. Upon arrival they asked if we were allergic to anything and though we are not, my husband cannot stand eggs. So, one morning when they served eggs, my husband was served waffles instead, which was very thoughtful. I have to also mention the cleanliness. I travel a lot and I am always looking at how clean a place is because it represents how much the owners value their customers, service, and attention to detail. The property has beautiful gardens and an outdoor eating area if the weather allows. Jodie constantly asked us if there was anything she could do for us. This location allowed us to travel with ease to Mystic for dinner, the Apple Harvest Festival in Mystic, and to the winery for the wedding. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This bed and breakfast was absolutely beautiful! As soon as I walked in it just felt so warm and cozy and we were greeted by the Innkeeper Tanner who is the most cutest Gooldendoodle. I stayed in the Briar Rose suite and it was stunning! I had big French doors that opened to the backyard which was huge! The bed so was comfy and I fell in love with whirlpool tub. We plan on going back next year too and I can’t wait! Highly recommend!

Service and location were fantastic! We would highly recommend staying at Stonecroft Country Inn to anyone. The staff is so friendly and accommodating for any requests during the stay. The breakfast is fantastic and the property speaks for itself.

The only issue we had during our stay was the mattress was a bit slanted on one side. Not a major concern as I was still able to sleep just fine.

We will definitely be back whenever we take our next trip to Mystic!

As part of the Select Registry family of places to stay, we hoped it was all that and more.|After phoning the staff, Jodie met us and shied us to our room.|It all appeared wonderful, cozy and clean. |We took a few minutes to acquaint ourselves with the room amenities and operate the tv, fireplace, bathroom fixtures and more.|The important notices are mattress, pillows and cleanliness.|Great mattress in the LILY room, pillows were too flat, so, multiples are required and those toss pillows don’t count. |Great sleep, woke at 6 am, excited for another Fall day in CT.|My husband likes to ‘make’ the bed but I chose to draw all the bedding to the end of the bed so the staff would know to change the sheets. |That’s when I saw ALL the soiled strains: old, yellowed and disgusting. |It’s ironic that the innkeepers promote a brand of sheets for folks to purchase yet our sheets were thin, stained and should have been tossed weeks ago. I’m not sure who housekeepers are and fail to know how these stains were missed. |Then, after enjoying a couple of mugs of kuerig coffee, my husband put me on notice that the water pressure was almost a trickle. We decided to pack up and headed down to breakfast where the innkeeper alerted us that the plumber was on his way to check the well. At that point, I informed Jodie about those stained sheets and she explained them away.|That’s it, the property is 5 miles up the road from Mystic and secluded and quiet. These innkeepers acquired property’s during Covid and it’s a huge undertaking to oversee and maintain all these rooms by themselves. I respect their mission.
