I was lucky enough to join the first Iceland Magic Yarn Knitting and Northern Lights Trip. Words can hardly describe how amazing and wonderful a trip this was. Tara made this trip so enjoyable and fulfilling. There was help all along the way for all knitting levels from someone who has never picked up needles to someone who has been knitting most their life!

Being an all women group further added to the magic that took place while we were in Iceland. I can truly say I have never been on a trip like this. Every single one of us walked away friends and with a bond that will last for a very long time.

One of the best things of this trip that it wasn't just knitting. We visited hot springs, farms, yarn stores, and parks as well along with stories and histories of the island. It was a perfect balance of activities and knitting.

It was my first time traveling with Green Edventures and it certainly won't be my last!

I had a wonderful time, exploring Iceland with the fire and ice trip. The leader, Kelly and the guide Inga were very professional and caring. Inga told many wonderful stories as she drove and guided us through Iceland. Kelly made sure that we had what we needed as we explored waterfalls and glaciers and Hot Springs. I will miss them.

I enjoyed trying all of the various foods of Iceland. The lamb was delicious as was the rye bread baked underground. That was the best bread I’ve ever eaten. I recommend this trip to anyone who would like to explore Iceland.

Green Edventures is amazing! I went on the Iceland Outdoor Sports trip and absolutely loved it! The tour with Tara was fantastic. She and our local guide Inga were fun, enthusiastic, educational, very engaged and invested in our experience. The trip was well planned with so many adventures and wonderful local experiences. I hope to go every year!!!

Recently returned from Green Edventures July Iceland multi-sport tour. This was my first experience with a tour. I was able to connect with a couple of ladies ahead of time and make additional plans pre and post tour with a buddy. The tour was exceptional with full days of adventures and sight seeing. Our guides Tara and Inga were fun as well as very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited. They were prepared to make alternative plans according to the weather or circumstances (like the ring road flood and closure) so we never missed out on an activity. The accomodations and food were great. We lucked out with the weather. I hope to participate in future tours with Green Edventures.

I just returned from a women’s adventure tour in Greenland with Green Edventures. The experience has been life changing. The magnificence of Greenland cannot be overstated. Everyday was a new and awe inspiring experience. We hiked on a glacier into an ice cave, which will forever be one of the most incredible experiences of my life. We watched humpback whales bubble net feeding, each moment feeling joy that I was sharing a world with these beautiful animals. We traveled into the fjords, seeing the ever changing waters of the arctic. With our experienced guides, we had opportunities to experience the local community of East Greenland and submerge ourselves into the awesome landscapes. All of this while traveling with a group a new, fascinating friends.

Traveling with Green Edventures to Iceland on the Multi-Sport tour offered me the opportunity to explore a beautiful country and to find my “inner Viking.” Sharing this experience with a group of women built friendships that can last a lifetime and memories that will last equally as long. We engaged with the (four legged) locals, explored the beauty of Iceland’s countryside and rest our heads in comfortable lodgings every evening. If only given one word of advice to women who wish to travel solo or celebrate a special milestone with friends, it would be “Go!” I’m already looking to see what my next Green Edventure trip will be!

I joined Green Edventures rafting the Salmon river in Idaho- it was awesome! Everything was well coordinated and we had a great trip leader, Lori, to keep everything running smoothly and to cheer us along. The rafting company was top notch with fun, experienced guides and great food! I highly recommend this “get away from it all” trip with beautiful scenery and history!!

Recently returned from a GreenEdventures women's tour of Iceland. Amazing trip! You will see a lot, do a lot, and have action-packed days! The company prepares you very well for the trip. The guides were outstanding. Accommodations were excellent. I never felt unsafe. I would travel with this group again.
