We visited recently and stayed at the dog friendly cottage which was very cute and clean. We enjoyed walking the woodsy trails surrounding the Inn and our two dogs loved it. There was a patio area that was fenced in to let our dogs out as well. We visited Mystic as well which was very close by. We enjoyed our stay very much and the cottage was warm and comfortable. We had breakfast delivered to our door in the morning and I especially loved the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes. It was a quiet, relaxing location convenient to many nearby areas. Our dogs loved to be able to have a getaway with us too! We will definitely return again!

My wife and I stayed at Abbey's for the second time recently, and once again we had a wonderful experience. As it says on the inn's website, it truly is a "hidden gem" in southeastern Connecticut - incredibly close to Foxwoods and Mystic, yet secluded enough that you would never guess it. The inn is tastefully appointed and clean, and Erika is a welcoming hostess. Breakfast is a definite highlight, not only for the quality of the food, but for the fact that you can have it delivered to your room! After enjoying our breakfast on our private deck during our previous stay, this time we opted for breakfast in bed - perfect for a chilly winter morning. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, romantic getaway with easy access to many area attractions, I highly recommend Abbey's.

My wife and I have stayed at Abbey’s a number of times and it has always been a wonderful experience. The rooms are decorated beautifully, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and feel cozy. The innkeepers, Erica and Peter are very accommodating, hospitable and very friendly people. The breakfast is delicious and healthy choices available. If you are also visiting Foxwoods Casino, this bed and breakfast is very close by. We highly recommend.

We stayed here for New Years and had a great time! Location was great and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The breakfast ordering process was easy to navigate and convenient, and the breakfast itself was delivered on time and delicious! The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly, and we really appreciated how they allow dogs in a designated area. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect place to get away and relax. Stayed for one night with a friend in the Southwest Room, it was absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. Big jacuzzi tub was the highlight but the entire room was perfect. Comfortable beds, fireplace, every amenity you need in your room or shared spaces, coffee bar, and a patio right off the room.

Owner was extremely responsive and helpful with anything we needed! Only about a 10 minute drive to Mystic. It was the perfect mix of “in the middle of nowhere” and “lots to do”!

Absolutely would love to stay again.

We booked last minute and they were still able to accommodate us. And I mean really last minute, an hour’s notice because the hotel we intended to stay at for two nights only lasted one night because we were very unhappy there. We booked the cottage and it was absolutely adorable! Separate from the main building all by itself, it was nice to have our own little space. It was actually our first time at a bed and breakfast and we found it so much nicer than a hotel. They even offered to deliver our breakfast to our room. Five star service for sure! Erika was an amazing hostess, very kind and accommodating. We definitely hope to go back.

We are from the city and have stayed here 3 or 4 times over the years. It is definitely 5 stars if you want the tranquility and love nature. Many things to do nearby and time to enjoy nature and relax (if you choose). Erika and Peter go above and beyond to make sure your stay is awesome. We bring our lab and stay in the lodge right outside of the bed and breakfast. It has its own fenced back yard for our dog! Absolutely love this place! I would highly recommend it!

Adorable! Our room was very comfortable and clean. Erika was so friendly and helpful. And the breakfasts she cooked for us were a highlight we looked forward to them every morning of our stay. The property is adjacent to great walking trails and a short scenic drive into Mystic and Stonington. We would love to come back one day!
