As a wedding photographer, I really enjoy working at Aqua Turf! The couple I had there absolutely adored the place and I understood why. The grounds are huge, but well maintained. The buildings offer wedding couples a ton of options, from moderately-sized events all the way up to massive ones (900 people?). I definitely recommend considering Aqua Turf if you're looking for a ballroom-style wedding venue in Connecticut!

They made our wedding and post wedding brunch AMAZING! Alyssa and her staff made sure everything ran so smoothly. It was so nice to be able to enjoy the day without a worry. They brought my vision to life. I can’t recommend them enough!

This venue lives up to all wedding expectations. Great service, very good food, and set up for ease in every way. Did I mention the staff was A plus? Special shout out to Emma, who made everything run like a dream.

The place is beautiful and I think most reviews are based on that but the food was disappointing; I have had better food at a diner. Our group was among 900+ guests. The salad was nothing special as seen in photo. The place setting was elaborate for the meal served. We had a first course of two bowls of penne w/sauce (table of 8) then a shallow bowl of mashed potatoes which half of the table did not receive any and when asked for more was told we had to wait for seconds. The Chicken Marsala I would say was once a frozen patty covered with marsala sauce, the baked cod was tasty but again not enough for everyone on first go around and a bowl of baby carrots some people buy in a bag to serve with dips. Music provided was okay. Dessert was ice cream in a once melted refrozen shape with a drizzle of raspberry. All in all the food did not match the beautiful surroundings of grandeur.

Beautiful in/out. Great place for a wedding. Needs more bathroom stalls for a place this size, to avoid lines.I think there were only 6 or 7. Beautiful bar & bartenders did a great job keeping up. I encountered one rude waitress, which almost soured my time during my lunch. She would be the reason I wouldn't return. Other then her, try it once. Food was ok.
