This was a good location for our visit to Meriden. It is quiet and safe. Parking is convenient and well lit. The room was clean and in pretty good condition. The room was quiet. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but the mattress seemed fairly new. The bathroom had a few maintenance issues that needed attention (toilet did not flush well and some wall damage near the shower.). The television had a poor picture. These items were reported to the staff but nothing was done during our 5 day stay. The room was cleaned daily and new towels provided.

I have upgraded my rating on this hotel. We had a wonderful stay our first time here. We also plan on using this hotel again on our journeys in the near future. Having seen a recent ridiculous review bashing this hotel I felt the need to help bring its rating back up. Being a parent of a team sports member I understand how excited children can be. The onus should be on the parents to discipline their children and themselves not management, Having been on the other side of the coin I would expect a good nights sleep. With respect for the quiet hour rules. Management went above and beyond in handling this situation with admirable restraint. This shows a true respect for their guests.

The staff was great, especially the front desk. Very friendly and helpful. I loved the beds and found them quite comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, even if all the bread was stale (but ok when toasted). Nice selection of food. Our TV and coffee maker didn't work, but we weren't going to use them much. Overall, a really good experience.

Service was great. Bed was ancient, and very uncomfortable. The bathtub/shower worked fine, but was cracked, and made gnarly sounds as one walked in it.

Having a comfortable and not-worn-out bed is key to any hotel stay, as we are there primarily to sleep.

While everything else was fine, we will avoid this hotel again due to lack of adequate bed.

From the time I stepped into this hotel I was greeted with hospitality, smiles and professionalism. Amanda has don’t everything to make sure that we get what we need and handles everyone with kindness and empathy she is what hospitality is all about. Same for Hinaxi, Hinaxi has helped me out with all of my reservation help. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. They are renovating to make sure the hotel is it’s best and with it’s front desk Amanda and Hinaxi they make this hotel what it should be!

We needed a place to sleep while visiting family attending UHart. The property was affordable and met our needs. Beds were well made and clean. Room was a bit stuffy and need of updating. Lighting was pretty poor. Great water pressure in the shower! Plenty of hot water. Staff was very attentive and eager to please; made me feel welcomed.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament. If I had read the reviews prior, I would have changed hotels given the recent attempted car jacking of a youth hockey player. Apparently the hotel has some remodeled rooms but I did not get one. I encourage everyone staying here to demand one (I am assuming they were much better). My room smelled slightly of mold, it was not the cleanest and it literally looked like someone stole the furniture. There was no place to put anything - the dresser was completely covered by the TV and there was just one small table. There was no luggage rack, no desk, nothing (and given the questionable cleanliness I didn't want to leave items on the floor). The one shining light here were the employees - they did their best to assist and even found some chairs for me to use as luggage racks. Overall this hotel needs some work.

The Property is very convenient and clean. The breakfast is always prompt, warm, and ready. The room is clean and comfortable. The front desk woman, Amanda, was awesome and the main reason I rebooked again this week. She was impressive with how she handled the guests in front of me and still stayed positive, warm and accomidating. She is a true assett to the property!
