Next Adventure staff was very helpful getting setup with a new board after having an issue on the first order. They took great care of us in the store and I purchased new bindings and a helmet and beanie for my son as well. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and they have a great selection of gear for the kids. Will definitely be back to get my son setup with bindings, boots and a board as soon as he grows out of his Riglet.

I freaking love this store! Especially raising a large family in the northwest. Easy to sell and buy secondhand. This helps us always feel good about trying something new without dumping extra junk into our landfills. This is one of the best places in downtown Portland to find gear for snowboarding and hiking. They offer great prices, although it depends on the quality of the items you’re looking for. They even have a basement section with used gear—most of it is in good condition, and occasionally you can find items with excellent sale prices. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to gear up and get well-prepared for the snow. Highly recommend checking it out!

We went there to browse used gear. Even late in the season, we found a whole snowboarding set up perfect for our 7-year-old. We are pretty new to snowboarding and buying all of our gear for the first time. Even though it was a busy weekend day, Alejandro answered so many questions, fitted our boots and helped us pick out full set-up based on our sizes, preferences and styles. We took a lot of his time and he was patient. When we came home and took the time to price compare, etc. we found that he gave us a good value and didn't just push the most expensive stuff, but rather, what he thought would work for us. We are stoked about our gear. We would trust Alejandro 100% to help us pick our gear again. He definitely earned our loyalty to Next Adventure.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help. The bargain basement is a gem, and being able to sell back gently used gear for store credit is a huge bonus. I got some great help from multiple people on staff. I explained where I didn't really want to spend money and how I wanted to just try to get out on the slopes this season before I invest in great gear.
