This hotel is very un-assuming from the outside but absolutely lovely on the inside. The lobby was decorated beautifully and the room was immaculate. This hotel was recently refurbished with high end details like glassed in showers and comfy beds. No icky shower curtains or gross carpet here. Definitely not what I normally associate with the Best Western brand or a dog friendly spot! I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon. A 4/5 star hotel disguised as a Best Western! Who would have thought!!

Newer, nice place. Great employees. Best water flow in the sink I've ever seen, and not too shabby in the shower either. On the downside, smallest bathroom counter I've experienced. Talk softly if you don't want your conversation heard by the adjoining rooms. The bathroom vents act as an intercom and there is no insulation around the doors so as you walk down the Halls you can hear everything being said in each room.

I stayed at the new Best Western in Niantic, and it was a great experience! The hotel feels fresh and modern, with a clean, stylish interior that stands out compared to older places. My room was super comfortable, with a cozy bed, a big TV, and handy extras like a fridge and microwave.

The location is super convenient—close to Mystic and New London, so it was easy to explore the area. The staff were really friendly and made sure everything was perfect during my stay. Breakfast was nice, with plenty of options to kickstart the day.

Since it’s brand new, everything feels fresh and well taken care of. Honestly, it’s a great pick if you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

From check in to check out, the hotel staff was amazing. The hotel was super clean, and the room was very comfortable. |At check in we were given a goodie bag with water and snacks which was a great touch. |Very comfortable bed and the water pressure in the shower was good.|The breakfast area was very clean and well stocked. The tables clean and the staff making sure counters were clean and items restocked when needed.|We had asked for an extra chair in our room and it was delivered immediately. |They were very busy that weekend, but we felt as though we treated as we were the only ones there. The service was first class.|We are staying again this weekend Sept. 6th - 8th and this Best Western will be our go to when we are in the New London area. Highly recommended!

New location - modern and clean. All staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a basic ‘get you on the road’ set up. Right off the highway. Was able to hear others at certain times during the stay, but that experience isn’t exclusive to this hotel. Excellent pricing/value. I’d return. Thank you!

We booked this new hotel for three nights, knowing that it was new and in a great location to visit Mystic Seaport, We were greeted by AJ at the front desk who was very kind and very accommodating. We had brought four bicycles with us and were concerned about leaving them on the bike rack. We expressed our concerns to AJ, and he immediately told us that we could bring them into the hotel. He allowed us to leave them in a locked utility room on the first floor, which was great! We so appreciated his willingness to help us! ||Being new construction, everything is extremely clean and new. We stayed in a standard king room with a shower only. The bathroom was small, however, the price I paid for the room was such a great price that it wasn't a big deal for us.

My husband and I had a king size room. It was clean and modern but there were a few things i didn’t like. They had a small benched between the fridge area and desk it was to small to put both carry on bags on it once they were opened. I used it and hubby put his suitcase on the floor. They didn’t have anywhere else to sit it. The desk in the room was small and it had a phone, coffee pot and ice bucket on it. It would have been nice to have a collapsible luggage rack. You could store it in the closet. The bed was soft and hard to move around in, pillows were small.

The rooms and hotel was clean and wonderful! The lobby was beautiful. The bathroom was incredibly clean. The location was good and there was ample parking. Here are the four reasons we are only giving three stars, but happy to update at a future stay if things improve.

1. It took us over an hour from arriving at the hotel to even get a room. We arrived at midnight and didn’t get a room until 1:05AM. The front desk staff member was not well trained or capable to quickly and efficiently check people in and answer basic questions. We felt bad because he seemed very stressed out from all the pressure of the job. The management needs to better train front desk staff and not have only one worker on the weekends. It’s not fair to the front desk staff or guests. It became incredibly frustrating waiting to get a room. An hour at midnight isn’t acceptable. I understand we were walk ins, but it took him at least 20-30 minutes to get each guest checked in.

2. The breakfast was bland and very sad. The eggs were dry. The coffee was okay. There was not a lot of non grain options and no sugar free or diary free milk or yogurt. It is not accommodating to sensitivities.

3. There was no baby changing tables in either of the lobby bathrooms. This should be required to accommodate guests with children and babies. It was difficult waiting over an hour in the lobby to get a room and not being able to change my babies diaper.

4. Some wild man down the hall from us was slamming doors, yelling, and be chaotic at 3am. I understand crazy people end up in hotels, but the staff needs to be quicker with dealing with these situations. It was over 30 minutes before the craziness was resolved. It made us feel unsafe.

Otherwise, the hotel was nice and we would be willing to stay again. We would definitely recommend staying, but please properly train night staff and properly staff the facility at night and please improve the breakfast options.
