Awesome place to play some beach volleyball!! Great atmosphere for meeting new people of all ages. Been attending for the past couple months and have built some great friendships. Recommend signing up for Friday night adult scrambles to anyone any skill level! Zack and Matt ensure everyone is having a great time! Hope to see you there!

Jon and Kelsey’s developmental league was fantastic. I learned far more at the sandbox than I had at the previous course I’d taken recently before. I always registered for the scramble tournament following the training and stayed for each, which I recommend doing as a means to practice what you’re taught. The atmosphere at the scramble tournaments is perfect for that, everyone is helpful and understanding, and because of the set up you can’t drag anyone down in the tournament and you learn from many perspectives. The Sandbox is an ideal location to improve beach volleyball skills.

Amazing sand and facilities adde to the great folks that run this place make it the best place to play volleyball in CT. Will continue to go back for pickup, league and tournaments.

In 2022 they have made some facility improvements that include applying something to the courts that helps keep the dust down. I also heard that they are planning to install radiant heat under the courts for even warmer sand.

Great place to come for some volleyball after work. Bring your own beer, join a league and have some fun. People that work there are some of the nicest guys/girls you will find around. Definitely highly recommend.
