My friend and I took the 8 hour women only class and had an exceptional time!! I went in knowing nothing and our instructor, LB, who is also the owner, was amazing in breaking everything down. I also loved Tia who stepped in and shared things and helped with our group as well! Both are amazing people & made this experience a 10/10!
I loved that the class was interactive and he had all of us participating and made the topics fun and enjoyable to learn. I would recommend to all out their looking to take classes!

Did the basic CT pistol course with ELG today and it was a great experience. Our instructor was Doc and he was very knowledgeable, personable and patient. The owner LB also led some sections and they made a great team. I am very happy I went with ELG and highly recommend them to anyone else. I’ll definitely be back.

I had to reapply for my license since I let the renewal lapse on my previous permit as well as my son has just turned 21 and I wanted him to exercise his right to carry a firearm. This was the such an amazing class. The instructors are very knowledgeable, patient and professional. No question asked was a dumb question & the whole entire course was conducted in a way that kept you engaged at all times. This was amazing I would recommend this place to everyone. I can’t wait to come back with my son and make our first purchase with you guys. Thanks again for everything.

I recently completed the class and the instructor Doc was absolutely fantastic!! He was very kind and funny! He made the class enjoyable and comfortable to interact and participate even if you are new to all things firearms. The owner LB joined us at the range and was very patient and down to earth!! He made the experience at the shooting range very enjoyable and informative!! They are a great team because they are both very warm and personable!! The class was a mixed class with women and men, and everyone was very kind and supportive of each other!! I definitely recommend going here if you are looking to start your journey. You will definitely feel like family.

I really did enjoy it. They made it fun, understanding, were patient and did amazing. I hate classes but this one was amazing. I would definitely recommend to anyone curious and wanting to do this kind of thing. And if you’re scared it’s ok to be or even nervous but go to and work with these guys I guarantee you’ll be more comfortable and understanding. I get everyone is different but I’m sure everyone would be happy and not at all disappointed

I took the women’s only course here and it was the best decision I could have made. The instructor LB who is also the owner was amazing and made everyone feel like they were a part of the family. There was also a special guest Tia who brought an amazing personality and great information to add to the course. I went into the course with nothing but nerves and left with a ton of information and a new member of the family cousin LB. I would absolutely recommend this course to any and everyone interested.

The class I attended today was amazing. I had to redo the class after having my permit expire a while back. Doug and Lenny were phenomenal. We did briefly meet Elbert who was very kind and made sure we knew to reach out if we needed help with any portion of the process including range locations. I learned a lot today that I was not taught previously. The atmosphere is very light and welcoming. Ask the questions you have, do not be shy about asking something you think may be common knowledge amongst the class. From a woman's perspective ELG is by far a comfortable environment whether taking a class or coming in to purchase. I know I will receive excellent service and be given good information when I go in for my purchases. I have already recommended them and I will continue to recommend them. My husband and I are very grateful for the experience we had today. I went in to this with some minimal experience and my Husband went in having never fired a gun before. I look forward to purchasing our firearms and utilizing other trainings they offer.

Also eat before class or at least bring a light snack like a granola bar to tide you over until lunch.

Stopped in on a whim to do some research on pistols with optics; ended up learning a ton, and ordered a Hellcat with green dot. The employee that helped me out was remarkably helpful and patient, walking me through several options and the pros/cons of various optic models. Really enjoyed the customer experience, and my purchase was quick and easy. Although small, you can tell the people that work here genuinely care, and I would not hesitate to recommend them for your next purchase or training!
