Easy to make a reservation! All the staff were friendly over and in person. CHARLES was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout the ride. I had gotten to ride Rex for 90 minutes during our adventure. The weather was great and the views were beautiful during this spring. The horses are loved, well maintained, and trained. If you are going with others check out Groupon for deals. And TiP your GUiDE it is Appreciated they work hard so you can have fun! : )

My mare was named Rosie, a kind soul. Charles(a good looking guy but doesn’t like his picture taken a hundred times a day, lol), Payson (and her dog), Biscuit, Ryer and a man whose name started with a D. Thank you all, this was a special pace and great experience for my Japanese guest. enjoyed the slow pace, scenery was great, a easy trail especially for beginners.
P.S. Please don’t forget to tip because it does mean a lot to them.

I can only speak to the small area where the party was held. Multiple fire pits, seating areas.The views are amazing, the staff was very helpful and kind.
Very malleable space that you can make your own.

Very rustic. You may encounter wildlife and or livestock along the way. So when it says drive slow, drive slow definitely had cows wander into the road the first visit and had a horse run across the road just in front of me on the second visit.

Great experience over all!

Great experience at Fort McDowell. We bought a groupon and it was a great deal. The trail ride was very enjoyable. Our tour guides, Payton and Hayden were super friendly and supportive. Highly recommend. We will be back again!

I’m glad I went early on my scheduled 90 minute ride because if much later than 11 am would’ve been very hot. They are very organized, offered us water and got all 13 of us up on our horses quite quickly. They had three wranglers come along with us, which was nice, but I think they should offer some knowledge about the desert cacti and mountain ranges for the 13 riders that were in our group. I believe the tips would be much bigger if they would’ve tried to talk to everybody in the group a little bit. The horses were all wonderful. We had a good time going through the river twice and we did not see any wild horses, but we did see some cattle. Very good tourist attraction.

Awesome. Perfect views and great staff. My horse was Rojo. She was sweet. The trail we took lasted about 40 mins which is perfect length before things get uncomfortable. Love this experience and the views... well look at the pictures.

I loved the whole tour guide and amazing ranch. Keep up with taking care of the land and gypsy.I loved the bald eagle nest.
