Convenient location by I-95. Room was clean and boasted basic amenities, though the decor needs a complete overhaul as the 1970s are over and done with. The clerk was brusque and nasty but the septic odor in the room was even worse. In fact, it made me totally sick. There were also a number of shady characters in the parking lot. They have a lot of audacity to charge $100 per night. I would advise staying at Motel 6 or Holiday Inn on Route 1.

Hotel is dated. Only Ice machine is in the main office. No elevator. Parking was tight with broken down vehicles in the corner of the lot. Price was reasonable, but the bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable! The bathroom was dated and it felt like you were sitting on the floor while using the toilet. The door to the room had gaps letting insects into the room.

I usually don’t review “one night stands” but this hotel was exceptional. I read some reviews and there was many good and a few Kevin/ Karen types (the muffins were cold, I found a hair under the baseboard). I arrived about 11PM. Was assigned a room. It was a spacious king. Small microwave small refrigerator/freezer combo. The decor was not modern but it actually looked like the carpeting was just replaced- not a mark on it. Plenty of hot water in the am. Seconds to the interstate ramp. I don’t know if there is breakfast- I never looked. I travel 4-5 times a year to the Cape and didn’t enemy know this place existed. This is definitely a go to hotel for those overnighted. I live in NW Pa so it’s a 7 hr drive so it’s well worth the extra hr that I usually do when I go this direction.

Nice little hotel, even though rooms are overpriced for what you get. But then again, the cost of everything has gone up. Room was clean and comfy. We'd stay again. Desk clerk was friendly

Sadly, probably a last visit. Think the owner has lived here forever, has paid off all and works with family to do maid service. As such run a bit like an AirBNB. Actually saw couple with young baby kicked out for being too noisy. My complaint (Choice Diamond, multiple visits, clean before I leave, always pay promptly, low maintenance guest) is that my wife was working in the room and we wanted to put Do Not Disturb out. As maid was working a few doors down actually carried garbage out - got new bags for bins - and brought out wet towels that she would have replaced if she seviced the room. Towels were relatively flimsy to begin with but owner actually said "we are limited service, even Mariott has you hang up and reuse). Besides Marriott towels being much better and perhaps drying (though signs have always been optional) I was shocked. Easy follow up. Never visit again and call Chpice concierge to let them know this Rodeway does not meet even basic standards. Sad, but dozens of other (including many Choice) options available. Over the years place has been in decline and vibe of the jpint has become uncomfortable. Sad because hard to turn around. Sadly - AVOID.

Nice room overall, clean and comfortable and for a good price. Definitely recommend this place if you want an affordable and good quality room.

However, the main complaint is that I don't believe they have breakfast, or at least they didn't when I was there. I checked around 8:45am and didn't see anything. But it's advertised as having a complimentary breakfast.

But other than that, it's a nice hotel overall and would recommend it.

Our experience at Rodeway Inn and Suites, Branford, CT. was better than we expected. Customer service, excellent and the rooms very clean!
No continental breakfast, but for the price we didn't expect it.
We were very comfortable and will definitely go back. Outed dated bedroom decor, furniture, but I'll take clean and safe over trendy aesthetic anyway!

The hotel is starting to show its age. Check in was first clue, felt like entering a prison. No elevator, steep stairs to second floor room. Room was clean, one single serving coffee available and the tv worked with cable channels. The internet provided two modes, but we’re about as good as an old dial up. Had to use our mobile hotspot to access mail.
