The Trail of the Ancients tour with Southwest Adventure Tours was unforgettable! This meticulously organized journey gave us the perfect balance of structured exploration and free time to immerse ourselves in the region’s rich history and culture. Every day was a new adventure, from discovering ancient pueblos to savoring local cuisines that brought the Southwest to life.

Our tour leader, Robin, was phenomenal—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly organized. His coordination skills ensured that everything ran smoothly, and he went above and beyond to cater to everyone’s needs, arranging thoughtful alternatives for those with different interests or requirements. Robin’s enthusiasm and passion for the Southwest made the trip even more enjoyable, and Jason's support rounded out an excellent team. Thanks to their exceptional planning, we had ample time to explore and truly absorb the magic of the Southwest. I highly recommend this tour—don’t miss it!

Best day of my life (took their Antelope Park Dark Sky tour and Bonneville Salt Flats tour on same day) all thanks to Southwest tours, who were so friendly in their execution. Right from perfect online booking experience, pre-trip coordination to the most amazing tour, don't even think twice and be rest assured of a fab time. Tour guide felt more like a friend and professional photographer (very important if you are a solo traveler who loves clicking pics 😀 ) and shared so many interesting info about Great Salt Lake, Utah and Salt Flats. Tour was not hurried and sufficient time at each pit stop. Salt Flats is a must visit unique experience. We have one in India, but Bonneville was magnificent. Entire tour was super scenic and amazing transport, pick up/drop. Loved it! Go for it!

And then the brilliance of night sky! Getting a pic with comet (truly once in a lifetime experience), to seeing moonrise from horizon, spotting falling stars, satellites, planets, constellation and seeing beautiful moon craters, what an incredible experience. Don't miss out on this! and as usual Southwest team was fabulous! Despite just 3 of us on the tour, they went ahead with it, and gave us the most memorable experience.

Recently I took a guided tour to the Mighty Five National Parks in Utah on October 7th, 202. I had a wonderful time meeting like-minded individuals and touring the spectacular parks, the views are breathtaking, and lodging and group meals are great. Our tour guide Michelle is a knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful person who helped take pictures of the group. I strongly recommend this tour to my family and friends.

I recently did a tour of National Glacier Park and it was an incredible experience. Our driver Wynn was one of the highlights of the trip. Besides getting us everywhere safely, he shared stories with us of his adventures. We saw so much wildlife including black bears, elk, deer, bison, and a grizzly! I know that's not guaranteed every tour and the scenery alone was worth it. The accommodations were comfortable with modern amenities whenever possible. (wifi is tough in some spots) Everything was absolutely seamless. I can't wait to tour with them again.

A long journey, 1.5 hours, but worth it for travelling to such an alien landscape. Visiting the salt lake on the way back was also well worth it. With the weather at each location so different. I don't think you can really say you have visited Salt Lake City without seeing the Lake (the size of the Grand Canyon)
Plus if you have never seen Salt flats, these are one of the most accessible (and whitest).

Visiting the National Parks of Colorado on a Southwest Adventure Tour was super! We take a Southwest Adventure Tour every year, and they are all wonderful. This time I even white-water rafted ... and enjoyed it! For this tour, every place our outstanding guide, Sarah, took us to, maybe it had been raining or foggy; we arrived and it was miraculously fine. We were really fortunate: with the lovely weather; with a knowledgeable, careful, caring and fun guide – who, incidentally, picked superlative restaurants and sandwich shops for our meals and picnics (e.g., the wonderful Blue Water Bakery in Grand Lake, CO); and with a friendly tour group. On our last tour day a foot of snow was forecast in the Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, but it turned out that the precipitation didn’t start up until after dark so we even got to climb to Adams Falls (in the clear, warm morning sun) and to see Longs Peak (from a blustery, clouded overlook near that 14,259-ft Peak around 2:30 p.m.) before heading on to Denver and our flights home the following day.

Can’t say enough about our tour of the Mighty 5 National Parks in Utah with Southwest Adventure Tours! Our guide, Wynn, was top notch! Such a kind and gentle soul who was easy to be around, and shared the beauty of the state that only someone from the area could do! Everything was thought out and planned so well to maximize the time and experience at each park. It was fun meeting new friends in our group and getting to know them throughout the week! I don’t think I’d ever want to tour the parks any other way. Thank you for the memories! This was an unforgettable way to celebrate my husband’s 50th! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We decided to take the Magnificent Alaska tour to celebrate our 50th anniversary and we couldn't have received a more prefect gift! This adventure far surpassed even our highest expectations. The scenery, wildlife, and people were just incredible. In many ways, it was quite a spiritual experience. Even the weather cooperated...for the most part :). Daniel was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable, very kind and a lot of fun!

By the time we got home we were pretty much exhausted and would do it again in a heartbeat! We just need to rest a little first :).
