I had an extremely good experience with this physician and practice. I had an on-the-job injury offshore, and the administration staff went above and beyond getting my workman's comp info as soon as possible, despite some pretty disparate time zones... you definitely don't want bone or ligament injuries to wait, and they get that. Dr. Tucker was at once thorough, and succinct. He explained in perfect terms what was wrong, as well as giving me a complete digest of his recommended course of treatment. I don't think I'd ever before experienced this level of clarity from a doctor.

On top of this, he had a refreshingly holistic view of pain management; courteous without being too indulgent, not dismissing the value of stonger meds, but also not placing too much emphasis on them or blindly throwing unnecessary prescriptions at me. It was a respectful exchange, and that was so comforting in such an uncomfortable time of healing.

Dr. Tucker took the time to ask how my whole self was, instead of just the bones I had X-rayed.

The radiology team was also notably lovely in their approach to care. They actually took the time to make sure I was okay and not in too much pain, and on my initial visit, there was quite a bit of extra time needed for that.

It's been about a complete calendar year since I first visited this practice, and my body is healed and thriving. I definitely recommend this guy. He's not bad looking, either. Just saying.

I recently made an appointment with Dr. Tucker following a bad neck injury I had sustained. His staff was helpful in making the appointment and the office is welcoming and comfortable upon arrival. Dr. Tucker spent a lot of time with me discussing my problem: diagnosis the injury, providing helpful temporary solutions, and talking me through the prognosis and how best to heal in a short amount of time. He went "above and beyond" while showing genuine concern for my injury and interest in my recovery. And importantly, I felt great very soon thereafter.

Dr. Tucker sees my 13 year old son for shoulder problem. He is a baseball player and has been having pain for the last year. Dr. Tucker explained to my son directly the importance of mechanics in proper pitching and throwing. An MRI was ordered as well as physical therapy in a timely manner for my son's quick recovery. In my opinion Dr Tucker is a miracle worker. I had a really bad torn rotator cuff, with very limited movement. Dr Tucker performed two surgeries. The first surgery might have been successful if VA and Tri-West would have authorized my physical therapy on time, because they didn't it cause me a second surgery. The second surgery and physical therapy was extremely successful. Today I have full movement of my shoulder and very pleased.

After having 6 different surgeries in my life, including two shoulder operations, I can say with confidence that Dr. Tucker is by far the smartest, most highly capable surgeon I have ever met. In January of 2016, I tore my anterior, posterior labrum and the long head of my bicep tendon. Before properly getting this repaired by Doctor Tucker in June of 2017, I went through 3 MRI's, 6 different surgeons, and one incorrect shoulder operation between Portland, OR and New Orleans, LA. I was diagnosed with everything from a torn pectoral to only a superior labral tear and everything in between. I initially met with Dr. Tucker in June of 2016 when he diagnosed me without the need of looking at my MRI. He knew his way around a shoulder better than surgeons who had many years of tenure over him. I debated having the surgery done with him and wish I would have, but I decided to return home to be by my family when I had the operation done in the Portland area. Even after having the right diagnosis from Dr. Tucker, I went through 3 different surgeons in Portland and explained to them what happened and they tried to take me down the path of believing I had a torn chest muscle to believing they could fix the problem and then telling me they had never seen anything like what I had and would not touch it, to lying to me telling me they would be able to fix the issue and operating on me and not fixing the problem completely due to lack of skill. This is the guy! He is extremely professional, patient and knowledge. He really listens. You are a fool if you go anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Tucker for remedying my problem!!!!!
