My husband and I had been wanting an excuse to stay here for years. I had been following the renovation of the property for some time because as I photographer in NYC I had been within its crumbling walls and broken atrium multiple times on shoots. It always made me so sad that such a gorgeous building had been left to rot. Fast forward ten years and we decided to get married there. The restoration was done with the utmost detail and respect. The furnishings tell the story of its 100 plus years standing, with articles of furniture from multiple decades, alluding to its colorful and rich history. The atrium is absolutely stunning and worth a visit to see just that. The restaurant and bar below have amazing food and drinks, and highly recommend the bacon! Service was amazing and very helpful. Rooms super comfortable, artful and kooky, once again alluding to its colorful past. You’ll feel super special staying in such an old beautiful building that has a history steeped in NYC culture. We highly recommend it!!

The moment I walked into the Beekman hotel, I felt welcomed. The valet helped me with my bags, took my keys, opened the door, it was a breeze. At check-in, Daniel continued the fantastic service. He was kind and knowledgeable. He did not make me feel rushed when I inquired about the art or the facilities. The Beekman Hotel is stunning. Everywhere you turn, it has a story to tell. Breathtaking architecture, there is even a little guild on the art that is displayed throughout. The rooms are eclectic and luxurious. The bed and linen are comfortable, and the shower with in-house products is great. The room and bathroom were spotless. There is a 24-hour gym that is easy to find and is clean. The hotel has great restaurants; Temple Court and The Bar Room delivered above expectations. I want to try the other restaurants soon. There is morning coffee service in the beautiful and comfortable lobby. The coffee is local, and they also offered almond milk. I inquired about a couple of items, and the employee took the time to point out additional art that could easily be missed (I wish I got his name). Easy check out when departing. A dog friendly hotel!! I am already looking into booking my next stay! You will not be disappointed with this stunning hotel!

This was truly an amazing experience we have had with the Beekman. The rooms were beautiful and decorated by true professionals. I felt like I was staying at one of the most luxurious hotels in the city. The staff was courteous professional and a pleasure I cannot express more of the exceptional service my wife and I were provided. The food was delicious breakfast and lunch were amazing, the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. I had the Banana cheesecake for dessert every bite was a dream possibly the best dessert I've tasted yet. The experience we had was so awesome we were discussing our next stay during the Uber ride to the train. We look forward to returning, Cheers!

We love this hotel and have come back multiple times in the year. The location isn’t particularly in our favor but the hotel itself is iconic. We always have great experiences with the entire staff. They are wonderful.
The only issue is we booked using Hyatt points and called to upgrade our room prior to our stay. The rep on the other end stated it would only cost a certain fee to do so so we agreed.
Come check out, we were hit with an exorbitant bill out of proportion to the usage of our points and the agreed upon extra charge. And after multiple conversations I was either met with haphazard or incomplete clarification as to why this occurred. I would understand if it was relayed to me there was a separate additional charge for this particular suite but no one mentioned anything and I confirmed multiple times on that phone call regarding what exactly I would owe.
I’ve been left with such a bad taste in my mouth, it seems loyalty counts for nothing, and now I will not be returning to the Beekman with my family as we do yearly holiday trips.
Still waiting on someone to help me understand why I was not informed of the charges in total otherwise I would not have booked it and stayed somewhere else.

The hotel was very nice and tasteful. The bar/restaurant had a great atmosphere but the wait staff was not very friendly or attentive, and the food was "ok" at best. The suite we were in had a loud noise coming from the vent that made it hard to sleep and no one seemed to know what the cause was. And for 1500 a night you would expect at least a coffee maker in the room. I was very disappointed over all. I expected more from a 5 star hotel and the Thompson Buckhead in Atlanta is a much nicer Hotel. I guess I expected it to be similar.

5 stars for helpful staff. Thanks to the receptionist and security I was able to find my friend downstairs. Then get home safe in Uber via WiFi later. They are responsible, patient, smart and kind staff. On that basis would definitely consider a stay at the hotel.

The Beekman Hotel is a must stay when in New York City. This historic hotel still keeps its majestic architecture and atmosphere. The room is very comfortable and cozy. Service is excellent. The bar and restaurant located within is also a must just to soak in the ambiance. Hotel offers free car service within a mile but no pickup service.
