Happen to be here unexpectedly during the super bowl and this is not your average hotel environment.

First off they have what seems to be an entire floor dedicated to a beautiful gym with everything you could possibly need and high quality speakers hanging from the ceiling.

Decided to stay in for the evening and watch the game, but ended up not even watching it. This place just has so much to offer, including an indoor basketball court next to the bar and lounge area where I met these two incredibly talented gentlemen, played a couple games of ball, I swear they were good enough to walk on to either of our New York sports teams and were even kind enough to let me drop a few buckets on them.

Wasn't feeling too good afterward however so ended up nodding off a few hours in the lounge but woke up revitalized and Inspired that I just focused on work, without feeling I was working at all was so ingrained in the creative flow and ended up not even seeing the super bowl or caring one bit.

If you're looking for a place to relax, lounge meet some cool people, this is definitely the place.

I love the Moxy chain to start. I’ve stayed at Chelsea and Downtown. Sad to say the experience downtown wasn’t as wonderful in terms of the room!

My partner and I found an EYELASH in our sheet the morning we were leaving! We both don’t wear fake lashes so the sheets were not washed well. That or it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly!

Aside from the sheets, the bathroom was also an issue. Mainly, the shower! The handle for the temperature control was broken when I used it! The only temp available was apparently hot so I took nothing more than a quick shower! We stayed one night but I can’t imagine having to shower more than twice in that hot and uncontrollable thing.

Service was pretty good! We got checked in fast and efficiently.

The area itself is wonderful! Got to walk around and explore and having the hotel in the middle of most of where we visited was nice!

Overall, I wish they took better care of cleaning the rooms before guests arrive. Please also do maintenance on the plumbing! After a long day of walking around having to force myself to take a hot shower because of a broken handle is insane!

Overall I like staying here but this time has been disappointing. For the last two days there’s no hot water and I have one more day here. Also, the lounge is cool, the food is good, but the staff are not attentive. It’s frustrating because it’s not because of a shortage. At any given time there are probably 5 people working but they just stand around and talk. Why do I have to chase someone down to get service? It makes me feel like I’m being an inconvenience to them. This is not the Marriott that I have been loyal to for most of my adult life!

I had an amazing experience and a big part of that was thanks to Isaac! He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His friendly attitude, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made a difference. Whether it was answering questions, providing great recommendations, or simply offering top-notch service, Isaac made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel, especially with such a dedicated staff member like him!

Great location but more for those that are easy-going 20 to 30 something that don’t mind small areas more compact. GM was super responsible and addressed any concerns quickly. Breakfast was really nice and priced fairly. They gave us tokens to use at the Bar, which I thought was nice.
I wasn’t a fan of the $100 deposit which was nonrefundable if you didn’t spend it. I get that they want you to patronize their restaurant, but it seemed a bit awkward as they explained it when we arrived. Over all not too bad of an experience.

I had an amazing stay at the Moxy, and it was clear that some of the negative reviews come from people who didn’t fully understand what the brand offers. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was outstanding. Hana, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, and the bar service was excellent. The drinks were definitely worth the price, with top-notch quality and service. Luis, our bartender on the final night, was exceptional and added a special touch to our experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great atmosphere, amazing service, and fantastic value.

Rooms are very tiny,
Also the Main check in front desk area in need of updates..

I would give 3 stars, not sure how they got 4 stars for the hotel rating.

However the staff is pretty responsive, maintained quick and bar area is good.

So just need some improvements
