I can’t recommend Jimmy ( owner ) at the Guilford Texaco North enough! He’s been my mechanic for years, and his honesty and trustworthiness have always stood out. Just move to the area and bought a used Ford and just needed to do a few things. I brought it in and I met Jim, the owner fantastic guy Got my truck in right away. Did a real lotta work in one days time looking forward to doing business with. I’m in the future. Highly recommend recommended.

We stopped in on New Years Eve with a cracked valve stem in a rush on the way for a trip. They changed it for us quickly, less than 10 minutes and did not charge us. Definitely will be going back. Incredible service!!!

This has been our go-to auto maintenance/repair place for over five years. Five different cars over that time, some new, some not so much. Usually just oil and fluid changes, but also replacements of all fluids (transmission, differentials, brake, steering, coolant, etc.), struts, brakes, spark plugs, etc. No problem with mounting tires that I personally purchased instead of going through them. Some good advice provided. Overall, honest folks.

They aren't always the least expensive so do your research for repairs. But sometimes a little extra $$ is worth having a good rep with a local place that you trust, and that knows you when something comes up. They've seen us on a day's notice a couple of times. Occasionally we've had some conflicts about motor oil viscosity but they've gotten much better about that.

Wonderful establishment - I had a flat tire, rolled into the lot here, before I could even get out of the car, I was approached, and had my car taken immediately. They patched it up quickly and had me on my way once again! Great experience, will definitely return if I should ever need anything again - thank you so much!

I was a few miles up the road from Guilford Texaco when I discovered I had a flat tire. I carry a tire pump but could not inflate more than 16lbs which enabled me to get to Guilford Texaco. I was helped right away and before I knew it the tire was repaired and I was free to continue my journey. That's right "free" he wouldn't even let me pay. I feel truly blessed by Guilford Texaco North.
