Working with Ashley Abel was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I started using her for my family pictures a few years ago so I knew when I got engaged she was the only person I'd want to use on my big day! I was very much go with flow the day of the wedding, as having two kids under 4 made it hard to set such detailed plans. Ashley came in and made sure I got all the pictures I wanted. She did our family & bridal party pictures so quickly, but not rushed, so that way no one really missed anything during cocktail hour. You can certainly tell she's organized and knows how to keep things moving. During our reception it started to rain and Ashley had an amazing idea to bring us outside for some rain shots and they came out literally AMAZING!!
Overall, Ashley was amazing. Her turn around of giving the pictures back to us was great too. I am so happy with the way our pictures came out. She truly captivated mine and my husband's happiness in all of the pictures.

I can't say enough good things about Ashley and the incredible experience we had working with her for our wedding photography. From the very start, she was professional, upfront, and transparent about pricing and offerings, which made the whole process so much easier to navigate. She was responsive to all of our questions and truly made us feel confident in our decision to hire her.

One of the things that really stood out was the week of our wedding, when Ashley reached out to suggest adjusting our photo timeline slightly to account for the changing daylight. She had been at our venue that weekend before our wedding shooting a different wedding, she truly had our best interests at heart and I am SO thankful she took the initiative to make sure we had the best possible lighting for our portraits.

And as for the photos—WOW. We’ve already received 200 sneak peeks, and I’m completely obsessed with every single one. I can’t stop looking at them! It’s one of the few things that lasts beyond the wedding day—the food gets eaten, the music fades, but these photos will be cherished for a lifetime. Words are hardly enough to explain the Ashley Abel experience. There is a reason all of her reviews are 5 stars. We booked Ashley for our wedding, and that included an engagement photoshoot. From the start I think it was clear my now husband and I were not comfortable behind the camera, but she made magic happen! The day of my wedding I was supposed to have a first look but rain changed that plan. Ashley gave me the confidence to instead skip the first look and meet at the alter so we could wait out the rain. She took pictures under an umbrella when it was misting and did whatever she had to do to get the beautiful shots she did.

We had a list of picture groups for her and she ran through that in under 15 minutes. I have 6 siblings and originally wasn’t going todo individual shots to save time, but Ashley ran through them quickly. Ashley is respectfully demanding in the best way, meaning so she can rile people up even umungust the chaos of a wedding day. Ashley was so patient with my nephew who has sensory challenges, allowing him to help her so she could get the shots.

Her turnaround time was also insaneley fast. I have friends who wait 5+ months and Ashley had mine back in a few weeks.

On top of her amazing professionalism, her assistant Sam is also amazing. Sam was capturing moments but also helping with all boutonnieres which we were VERY grateful for because all of the sudden, none of us knew how todo them. Sam also helped bustle my dress, tossed petals for pictures, had clear umbrellas on standby (naturally I forgot mine) and asked for my nephews assistance to help with distraction and entertainment. Both Sam and Ashley welcomed in my content creator and worked so well with someone they had never even met, which made the whole process so smooth for me.

I won’t go anywhere else for any pictures and I can’t thank Ashley enough for capturing the most special moments and memories.

Ashley Abel is an absolute gem! She is such a sweet and joyous person that she is a blast to work with. Getting your photos taken can often feel awkward and stilted if you aren’t used to it. That was not an issue working with Ashley. She has an innate ability to set her clients at ease and get the most natural and gorgeous photographs of them possible! We booked Ashley for both our engagement shoot and to shoot our wedding itself and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Her prices are very reasonable and she was open to negotiating that to fit our specific and unique needs. This was the 1st time we have worked with Ashley.We hired her to do family photos. She was great. Not only did she make us feel comfortable but the finished photos were amazing.
