Bungalow Beach Place - Indian Shores, Florida

We loved Indian Shores and loved this place. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay in a clean, quiet area that is close to everything you need but not in the middle of everyone, this is the place for you.

It was like our own little oasis on the patio and the beach was great. We were close to plenty of restaraunts and a few fish markets so whether you go out to eat or make your own you have everything you need. Maybe the best fish we had we grilled there (look up Fishbusterz)

The people that stayed around us were great too, hung out with a great couple who stayed next door and just had a fantastic time.

Great location right on the beach. The rooms are clean and the little kitchenettes are perfect for staying in and cooking a meal. Only downside of the bedrooms are the mattresses. They seem very old and can be pretty uncomfortable.

Breathtaking view! The place was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Our family loved the proximity to the beach, and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the firepit at night.

Checked into Bung 9 It's a 2 BR Unit was Very Functional. But it smelled BAD. Our BR was OK but we weren't sure sheets had been changed. The worst thing was the bed. It was BAD! The frame was broken, box spring frame was broken and every time you moved it made so much noise ,it was hard to sleep. We told them the first day and one of the workers looked at it and they said it was OK. Great location, Nice Beach.

The Bungalows were nice for my bachelorette trip of 6. It was about 15 minutes to both Johns Pass and Pier 60. The beach was beautiful and not busy at all.
A few things that we thought could use improvement include the check in time of 1600 and checkout time of 10AM. Also, the shower water did not get warm at all. We were there for 3 days and had to take cold showers each night. It would have been nice to personally speak to a manager or employee, but everything is handled through Vacasa. That made it a little hard to get direct and immediate answers.

Immaculate, cute decor, well stocked, and on the best beach in the area! We’re locals and Indian Shores is our favorite beach. The Bungalow is perfectly located to the mom-n-pop restaurants and shops, and easy to get off the beach to the larger grocery stores and bigger retailers. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with conveniences that AirBnbs typically leave out. Also loved the convenience of on site laundry, gas grills, and use of beach chairs, umbrellas etc. We really didn’t need to bring anything but ourselves and food, and the view was spectacular. Will definitely stay again!

Our experience checking in to room #2 was frustrating. Vacasa gave us some trouble and it took over an hour after our designated check-in time to finally enter our suite. We booked two suites for our family, which was fortunate because had we not, we would have been waiting outside in the heat for that entire time. It was disappointing that Vacasa did not seem to understand the urgency of our situation, especially after driving for hours to get there. We had requested early check-in, which would have been great since we were traveling with a baby and toddler, but unfortunately, it was not allowed. This made the delay in getting to room #2 even more frustrating.

Once we were settled in, we found that the shower in room #5 had drainage problems and would clog while we showered. The rules were also a bit annoying, with check-out being too early and check-in too late. Despite these issues, we did enjoy our stay overall. The location was right on the beach and parking was easy.

One thing to note is that they didn't provide enough toiletries, so be sure to bring your own and don't forget hand soap. The rules stated that we shouldn't use their bath towels as beach towels, but they expected us to wash our beach towels before leaving. However, they did not want us washing our beach towels in their laundry machine, which we think is a typo that needs to be corrected.

Overall, we would recommend Bungalow Beach Place for its great location.

Loved Bungalow Beach place!! A few steps to the beach with a Private picnic and campfire area!! Kayaks available as well as chsirs and loungers you can take to the beach. Clean, comfortable and well decorated without too much stuff. Fluffy soft towels, great shower and everything you need in a kitchen. If everyone would read and follow the parking rules it would have been perfect.
