its a 2 star hotel, for good reason. noisy if your on the hwy side. nothing bad, old and a bit out dated, bathroom tile looked tired. not sure what the rate was as it was business. hasn't changed much in 20 years. but it was clean enough and staff friendly and accommodating. pretty average breakfast, typical these days, but adequate

The rooms were nice and comfortable. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good, very clean and staff there was very friendly. House keeping we stayed 3 nights. After 1 st night room was not cleaned, beds not made, garbage still in room. We went to desk to ask for garbage bags and more towels. 2 night following morning stopped at desk request our room to be cleaned. They replied okay. We got back beds not made. Bathroom not cleaned. They only laid clean towels on the bed.. took out garbage. No cleaning was done. We did stay here 3 nights. Expected our room to be cleaned as requested. Everything else was very nice.

Check in was easy room smelled extremely bad of musty mildew smell and there was ALOT of black mold in the bathroom and closet. I kept my stay as this was holiday time and I basically only wanted a place to sleep as I was away during the day visiting relatives. I never walked anywhere in the room without my shoes on as it was just gross.

Horrible Experience.

In the United States, service animals are primarily governed by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which defines a service animal as a dog that has been individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability (U.S. Department of Justice, 2010). In Florida, state laws align closely with federal regulations but may include additional provisions (Florida Statute 413.08).

Federal Laws and Regulations
Under the ADA, hotels and other public accommodations must allow service animals to accompany individuals with disabilities in ALL areas where the public is normally allowed (U.S. Department of Justice, 2010).

The only inquiry a hotel staff may make regarding a service animal:
-What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

Hotels CANNOT require documentation, such as proof of training or certification, nor can they impose breed or size restrictions on service dogs (U.S. Department of Justice, 2010).

Florida State Laws
Florida Statute 413.08 provides additional protections for individuals using service animals. This statute mirrors federal law.

Denial of Service Animals Based on Allergies
Hotels cannot deny access to service animals based on the allergies of other guests or staff members (U.S. Department of Justice, 2010). These concerns do not override the legal rights granted to individuals who require assistance from their service animals.

Designated Special Rooms for Service Animals:
Hotels are not permitted to designate special rooms for guests with service animals (Florida Statute 413.08). All guests should have equal access to ANY room regardless of whether they have a service animal.

Denying Access When Rooms Are Vacant
If there are vacant rooms available, hotels cannot deny access to individuals accompanied by their service animals (U.S. Department of Justice, 2010). The presence of vacant rooms indicates that there is no legitimate reason for denying accommodation based on the presence of a legally recognized service animal.

This hotel does not comply, according to the argumentative "GM."

Moreover, hotels are required to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for all guests. This includes proper cleaning procedures that minimize allergens and ensure that rooms are free from pet dander and other irritants.

While this hotel is focused on breaking laws and instructing their employees to do the same, other areas need attention-

The cleanliness of hotel rooms is a critical aspect of guest satisfaction and overall hotel management, several key issues indicate a failure in housekeeping standards:

Unclean Floors
Used Soap and Dirty Towels
Sticky Residue on Surfaces
Broken rotted furniture and appliances

Housekeeping Management: The failure to enforce cleaning standards points to inadequate leadership, which is essential for maintaining quality control. If management does not implement proper training or oversight, they may be failing to comply with labor laws regarding employee responsibilities and workplace standards.

Overall, these issues suggest systemic problems within the hotel’s operations that need immediate attention to ensure guest comfort and safety. Additionally, if these failures lead to health issues among guests, the hotel could face legal repercussions under public health laws.

Know your rights, don't drink the cloudy contaminated water, keep your money and stay elsewhere.

This place is a walking lawsuit. They are openly breaking laws, they even have signs for it. That's laughable.

This hotel has been reported to the DOJ.

We were here for the Caladium Festival-one night only. This hotel was a very good choice. Great staff, room was clean, fresh, A/C. Breakfast was very good. Pet friendly.

The location - great also. The hotel is on the main highway, but it is quiet, not a lot of traffic. !! Your GPS may want you to drive through a housing area, but just make a U-Turn on the highway..you'll see what I mean.

Positive: Nothing Negative: It was nasty. The bed was dusty, toothpaste on the wall, dead roaches, sticky floor

This hotel needs a bulldozer. There’s absolutely no excuse for the horrible condition of the rooms. The toilet seat was damaged beyond repair (it’s a $30 item FFS, there’s no reason for this), the furniture was chipped and broken and in desperate need of replacement. Do not stay here.

Older and dated, too expensive for what you get, few interaction with staff was ok, room was ok, could have been much cleaner, not a hotel we would use again, it serve our purpose since we were racing at Sebring Raceway.||Next visit will be somewhere else or an Airbnb
