It was an amazing experience. I met with the owner Stacey and she explained the contract perfectly. Leading up to the venue, she communicated very well and made sure I had what I needed. My daughter’s graduation party was a success. I’ll definitely be booking again

My daughter and i would like to thank Ms Stacey for the amazing job she did with my Daughter sweet 16 party everything was above and beyond gorgeous everything 10/10 I will definitely recommend the grand room for any event you need once again we will like to say Thank you Thank you Thank you I don’t think I would have got though this day without you I will be booking my next event soon🤗

I held off on writing this review hoping that the owner Stacey would make things right. Since that has not happened I will share my experience at The Grand Room. We booked the venue for our daughter’s Quinceanera that took place on Sept 7th 2024. Upon arriving the to the venue the morning of the event to set up the venue was hot and the AC was not working. I notified Stacey she informed me she recently had some AC issues and had a repair man out there previously and it should be working but since it was not she would have him come out to get it fixed right away. We set up the room in the heat and left to attend makeup and hair appointments. To our surprise when we arrived back at the venue that evening the AC had not been fixed, no one had been out as promised and now the room was reading 85 degrees. She never once contacted me to inform me the AC repair company could not make it out or attempt to have an alternative company come out since there was an event that night and this repair was needed immediately. At this point all of our guest, the caterer, the vendors were already on site in long formal dresses and tuxedos sweating. I wrote her immediately she apologized and had her son drop off two box fans. This did not help at all the Venue reached over 85 degrees and that was with the fans going and the front and back door open to allow air in. It was cooler outside then inside the venue. Our party was ruined guest left hours early soaked in sweat. Candles could not be lit to try and avoid contributing to the heat, the three tier cake melted, desserts on the treat table melted and fresh flower centerpieces began to wilt. Quinces are something all little girls look forward to in our culture for years coming and require a ton of planning, dance rehearsals, energy and effort and last but not least funds. In decor and vendors alone over 5k was spent and just like that one issues ruined it all. We had family and friends fly in from all across the US for the event to not go as planned is extremely heart breaking. Stacey assured us she would provide the venue rental fee back as a refund and asked us to give her a week to do so. After the week the refund was not received I asked for an update she said it would be another week. I advised that’s not what we agreed on she didn’t respond. The excuse of AC issues are unexpected only goes so far because what is in your control is communication and follow up. If we had been made aware the repair could not be done before the event we would have made every attempt to find a last minute alternative or canceled the event entirely before we would have put our daughter and guest through that heat.

I had waited my entire adulthood to have my 1st party. So I waited to go all out once I turned 30. I ran across "The Grand Room" via social media. I immediately reached out to Ms. Stacey. We met up and I gave her my vision and she went over and beyond bringing my vision to life. The decor was just as good, if not better than you would see on TV. My guest were amazed and took pictures around the room the entire night. Now here I am a year later turning 31 and I will be having another party. I am two weeks away and very excited to see what she has in store for me and my guests. Very professional and patient...BOOK ! BOOK! BOOK!
