Come see why Tombstone was founded and the reason it was so rough! This is a real good mine tour. The operators really know their facts and the history of this mine and the role it played in Tombstone. They offer a few options depending on how adventurous and physically able you are. They are actively working on a range of other underground attractions that are super exciting and will have us returning very soon!

A great break from the heat to see some unique scenes of Tombstone! The very namesake of 'Tombstone' is explained here. The people who discovered Tombstone and made it what it is, beyond the glory of gunfighting, and into the depths of miners, this place does a good job of highlighting the miners that really made this town.

The tour was very satisfying in it's pace. Our guide, Buck, was informative, funny, and quick. It's just what we wanted. Giving us the true experience of miners, letting us be in the dark, looking at the nearby tunnels, highlighting certain minerals, it was really cool to see.

Our only concern were the animals for the petting area. It's hard to tell how well they are cared for.

Be sure you stop and check this place out! There's plenty of caves and mines to see around, surely, but this is convenient, quick, and informative!

This Silver mine is a must! Ray was our tour guide, he was well educated on the history and charismatic. There was a spot on the tour where you really got a feel for what it was like for them down there in the mine and being able to see things from the past that was
left behind, is one of my favorite parts. I can’t tell you the highlight (not a spoiler) but dang was it cool!

The tour was both entertaining and informative!
Ray, our presenter, did an amazing job of keeping us laughing while filling our minds with enough stories and information to vicariously place us into the 1880's as a miner.
Ray clearly has a passion for history and a great knowledge of how the process and the players worked in the "Goodenough" silver mine.
DO NOT MISS the opportunity to learn about this piece of American history.

We took this tour on a hot (mid-90s) early-October day and were grateful to get out of the heat and down into the cool mine for a while. Our guide, Buck, was entertaining and informative and really looked the part of an old-time miner with his white hair and Santa Claus beard! He answered all our questions and moved at a pace that made sure no one ever got too far behind. Five stars for Buck!

Abby was our tour guide into this great mine tour. Fun and informative! We’ll worth the time and money to learn the history of mining in Tombstone. Highly recommended. We did not make reservations on a Tuesday. Reservations on weekends and high tourist season may be a good idea.
