This hotel is a long term residence with permanent occupants. There were a number of people hanging out in the parking lot with a smell of weed. The room was very basic. The bathroom had cigarette burns on the counter and bugs /roaches. They give you one small bar of soap and no shampoo. The room smelled odd. A combination of mildew, cigarettes, and cleaning supplies. I cannot recommend this hotel.

I've been staying here a year now while working, and trust me, I've seen it all. New management has gone above and beyond to correct some issues such as pest management, hiring a cleaning company to clean the a.c coils, re-coated or sealed the parking lot, got rid of the bad news people, and even got a new a.c and microwave installed in my room. The roaches were terrible when I first got here, but now I don't even remember the last time I saw one. Staff is also incredible. Night time security a plus. Don't really care much for all the stray cats, but they're growing on me. Thanks Extended stay America for your reasonable rates and convenient location.

Front desk woman was nice. Everything else about this hotel is gross. Roaches everywhere, wanted to relax after work, but made a couple friends with all the roaches in the room. If you’re in the mood for a nightlife, go to the club parking lot and you’re welcome to smoke crack with everyone else in there, good news is there’s no cover charge at club parking lot.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who is an animal lover. The manager (Steve) told me about the cats that i can let my dog kill the cats he doesn't like them. I laughed ( like I would ever do that)! If you like roaches and smelly rooms of cigarettes and pot then this is your place. Thank God I only needed the room for one night. I will not ever stay at another extended ever again till they get their place fixed. The male security was very friendly and polite and helped me find a place to walk my dog and where can I get something to eat and buy roach spay. I was also so worried my dog getting sick from all of the dog fecal matter all over the place. After I took my service dog to my room I went to eat. I then came back and I had so many roaches I went and to walgreen and got roach spray to spray my items so I didn't bring them with me. This place needs to be turned into the health department and the manager (Steve) should be turned into the police for animal abuse. They have security at night but all the excitement of drugs and alcohol drinking is during the day. There so much is can say is wrong with this place the only thing nice about it was yhe women that worked at night and the male security guard, but the manager (Steve) and the roaches and smelly and house cleaning needs to go and go fast.

I had the pleasure of staying at Extended Stay America Select Suites- Lake Worth Fla for an entire year, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at home. Over the course of my stay, I witnessed first hand dedication and hard work that each team member puts into ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience.
Renaldo(Rey) from maintenance was absolutely exceptional throughout my stay, Rey was always quick to respond to any requests and made sure everything was in perfect working order. His kindness and attention to detail went above and beyond what I expected. No matter how big or small the task, Rey approached it with a smile and genuine care, making me feel truly valued as a long-term guest. His upbeat and friendly personality created a warm and welcoming environment that brightened my days and all the other guests. What stood out the most about Rey was his infectious positivity and constant smile. He was always in the best mood, no matter the situation, and his cheerful attitude made a lasting impact. Rey approached every task with a genuine happiness and care.
The front desk staff Yolene, Belkis, Jenny, and Antonio were incredible. Yolene has a natural warmth that makes everyone feel welcome, and her ability to handle any situation with grace and professionalism made my stay worry-free. She consistently went out of her way to ensure that all my needs were met. Belkis is equally outstanding, with a friendly up best personality that made every interaction a pleasure. She was always ready to assist, offering helpful suggestions and solutions with a smile. Antonio was also fantastic, maintaining a high level of professional ism and attentiveness throughout my stay. Jenny, who was always kind and helpful. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist added to the overall great experience I had during my stay.
Additionally, I'd like to acknowledge the previous manager Jay, who was an outstanding man and a true asset to this establishment. Jay was not only professional and knowledgeable but also had a genuine warmth and kindness that made a lasting impression. His leadership created a positive and supportive atmosphere that carried through even after his departure. Jay's dedication to guests satisfaction was evident in every interaction and his presence was greatly appreciated by both guests and staff.
I also want to express my sincere gratitude to Manager Steve, whose leadership sets the tone for this exceptional team, Steves professionalism, kindness, and dedication to guest satisfaction are unmatched. He was always approachable and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that everything ran smoothly, Steve's ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and staff made a lasting impact on me. His efforts to maintain high standards and address any concerns with care truly made my extended stay a wonderful experience.
House keeping, Marlene, Doreen, Marie, yanick worked incredibly hard to keep the rooms pristine and welcoming. Everyday, they showed up with a smile and strong work ethic, taking great care in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring everything was in place whether it was regular cleaning or special requests, they never hesitated to go above and beyond. They were always prompt, courteous, and thorough, and their attention to detail was exceptional. They created a comfortable and clean environment where I can truly relax and feel at home.
A big shout-out to the security team-Star and Cruz- who worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the property. They were always vigilant, maintaining a strong and reassuring presence throughout my stay. Their commitment to keeping the promises gave me peace of mind for the entire year.
The hotel itself was well- maintained, clean, and provided all the essentials I needed for a long-term stay. Thank you. Regard, Laurie Piedrahita

I was just reading the reviews and frankly I am even more upset. There should be no positive review of this place unless they were paid to do it or work here. And it is always the same generic response from the “management” if you can call it that. I seen someone say “they have taken care of the pest problem” like a month ago? These must be the world’s most cunning roaches or something because they are every where. Definitely going to corporate or maybe even the health department over this. Whoever regulates lodging in the county has got to be notified since there are a plurality of reviews complaining of roaches for months and obviously they aren’t trying hard enough. I even included photos so you know I am not lying. Look at the time, I can’t even sleep after something was crawling on me in my bed. Seriously absurd.
I was here for one night on a business trip. I checked in at 11pm and was just beat I refused to look for another room since i’m leaving in the morning. That is until I found a roach crawling on my pillow. Then I started looking around and saw baby german cockroaches crawling on the wall. Where there is babies there’s already an infestation. Not to mention the unsafe parking lot with a bunch of random people just hanging out all hours of the night. And no they are not quiet and polite at your window at 1am. If you stay here make sure to put all your bags into the freezer/refrigerator so the roaches don’t get a vacation at YOUR house next. I never thought the Miami ESA would be better than this but I am always surprised with South Florida.

We came in at about 8 pm. When we entered our room the first thing I saw were roaches scurrying off the counter. Since it's Florida I thought a bug or two are to be expected. We checked the bed(which was short a pillow) and it looked clean. The room smelled like bleach. We settled down and saw three more roaches , which we hit with shoes. We turned our lights out and started to watch TV when about an hour later the lights just popped back on by themselves. At this point we saw several more roaches scurrying away. We called the front desk and were told the manager wasn't on the premises and there was nothing the desk clerk could do. We asked for another pillow and we're told they didn't have anymore! What!? What hotel doesn't have extra pillows? We did everything we could think of to resolve the light issue but they popped on ALL NIGHT LONG EVERY HOUR. When my husband went to take a shower in the morning he found a dirty washcloth wedged in between the shower curtain and the curtain rod. Gross, despicable conditions. You tell other posters you are sorry and working to resolve things. This is just a flop house that is filthy, wreaks of pot and is a roach motel. It's shameful. The manager was still not available at checkout. We will be pursuing to get e refund.

We booked 5 rooms for work related business in the area. Rooms were dirty, there were roaches, front desk was notified that there was smoking going on in the hotel and they said they would look into it; however fire alarm went off during the night; front desk was asked about it and they said that security did not find anything wrong; ran into security and they were never told to look into anything. Very sad that management does not care to keep up the reputation of Extended Stay since there have been many other times we have stayed at other locations with no issues. Now we will not book rooms at Extended Stay locations unless we have previously stayed at that location.
