After booking with another company who cancelled on us, and finding Old Coast Adventure as a replacement, we are SO happy we did. Thompson and Burke were amazing. They were so knowledgeable and taught us about these waters, the history of the area, pointed out critters and genuinely were such a good time. I would recommend these guys to ANYONE who wants to have a chill night out on the river, watching the sunset and listening to good music. We'll definitely be back!

I had the best time! Thompson and crew were very knowledgeable and safe, while still treating everyone like new friends. I learned new things about the history and ecosystems of the Georgia coast. We got to see a wild boar, different kinds of birds, and so many dolphins! It’s always fun to see someone in their element, and that’s exactly where Thompson and his crew are on the water. I can’t wait to go back!

We chose to celebrate my birthday by taking a morning boat trip out with Thomson and Joe and it was a magical and memorable experience. Thomson is incredibly knowledgeable about the Georgia coasts ecosystem, wildlife, and history. We were fortunate to see tons of wildlife on our trip including, dolphins, migrating birds, and skate fish. We will definitely be recommending these tours to all our friends and booking more trips in the future!

What an adventure! We had the most perfect day on Bone Crusher Captained by Thomson. We met at the marina and had a few cocktails and great garlic peel-and-eat shrimp and Hushpuppies at Bubba Gumbos while we waited out a brief storm.
Great local fare at a down to earth hole in the wall.
Once the storm lifted we were on the go! Thomson took us to islands, beaches and sand bars(among other bars). He is a well-spring of knowledge of local history and fun tid-bits so don’t hesitate to ask questions. We saw a sea turtle nest with the leftover emptied hatchling eggs. We found tons of sand dollars and full intact sea shells. We swam on the beach for a refreshing pick-me-up and then headed in for a potty break at Crab Shack. Don’t leave without a Mojito in hand. We passed the biggest and the smallest lighthouses in GA(yes, they are both located on Tybee Island) and we passed several pods of dolphins with their babies!! We were at times within a couple feet of them.
Long story short friends, this tour is magical. If you’re looking for a good time with solid low-country folks, this is it!

My highest rated experience since I’ve been living in Savannah for the last four years! I cannot say enough good things about my private luxury sunset sail with captains Thomson and Ellie! These two captains are the real deal with salt in their veins. Our 2 hour cruise through Lazaretto creek was unforgettable with stunning golden hour photo opportunities, sailboat trivia, local history, dolphin sightings, and wild stories from the high seas. They have a catered option available and you can bring whatever your heart desires onboard. Thomson and Ellie are true gems and exude a truly unique joyful energy that you can’t find anywhere else. Set sail with Old Coast Adventure Co and enjoy a relaxing cruise on the backwaters of Tybee Island. We will definitely be sailing with them again.
