Rarely do I ever leave a bad review, but I feel I need to. The lobby was fine, but the moment we walked into our room it was a crap shoot. The first thing is the damp basement smell as soon as we walk in the room. The tile in the entry and bathroom are pushing up and loose. The white towels have yellow stains. They pull out couch had crumbs or something(dirt? Food?) all over it. The air conditioner rattled loudly. In the hallway several of the doors had large chunks out as if someone tried to pry bar in. The elevator was broke down when we arrived, we noticed the next day it was 4 months overdue. Overall it felt like a $40 a night hotel. Will not stay again...

The front desk was great helping us work through some issues. We were greeted with warm cookies and discounted rate.

Then we got to the room. The smell was odd but within a few minutes we noticed a few roaches and had to check out.

This is the second Comfort Suites I have had this issue with in the past couple months. Corporate chains should be spot checking for this type of problem. A guest should never see a roach or bed bug.

I was satisfied with my stay. Traveling to Tampa and it was getting late, stopped here. Booked online while driving- no problem. The front desk guy was friendly. Our first room had a faulty light- moved to another room with no problem. Clean room with comfortable bed. quiet stay overnight. The breakfast was ok-- Overall I had no negative issues,

Believe the bad reviews. This place is disgusting. Our first room has a huge stain down the side of the king bed. Then we opened the sofa bed and it was GROSS! Crumbs all over it and stains soaked all the way through the mattress protector. The couch cushions themselves were covered in white stains.

Thankfully the man at the desk had no problem moving our room. Our new room was better, but not great. Not super clean but usable. The rooms are in general disrepair. Mold in the bathrooms. Our room’s door was very difficult to shut and looked like someone tried to pry open the lock at some point. Overall one of the grossest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Couldn’t leave fast enough.

First night upon checking in, we were warned that we were walking too hard on the floor. Unpon checking in he stated we also had a pullout couch that was nothing but springs with a nasty can’t describe the kind of stain on it 🤮 Second afternoon we went to the pool. I stayed in the room was using the restroom when a housekeeping man walked in the room and walked into the bathroom with me sitting there , didn’t cracked the door, but stepped in and said I’m housekeeping. I Screamed slam the bathroom door after I pushed him out. when I addressed the devastating issue with the front desk, every employee at the desk smiled chose spoke their language when they asked them to speak our language so that we could communicate and they refused
I can’t even described how humiliated I was and so grateful that it wasn’t one of my children never once did they try and compensate us for anything

I stayed here over St Patty’s weekend to play in a golf tournament. We stayed in room 223 king “suite”. My wife and I had constant issues with our room keys. Apparently, the battery was “dead” for the door room key. Guy at the front desk kept saying “to keep your room keys away from cell phones and car keys because those items can demagnitize the room key”. Which made no sense to me.
When my wife and I arrived the first night, the hotel smelt like dog food and dirty clothes, the elevator had a burning smell to it, bath tubs had rust stains in them, lamps were caked in dirt/dust and the desk guy wasnt friendly. Nobody seemed friendly here. Just an all around horrible 3 day stay at this hotel. Also, the fire alarms went off twice in 2 days. One time at 11pm and 7:50am while everyone was trying to sleep. Also, they didnt serve breakfast the first morning either. This was a bad experience at this hotel and i do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Spend the extra money to stay/sleep nicely either down the street or drive the extra 20 minutes and go stay at Jekyll island or St Simons island

Positive: Location. Negative: The room wasn?t as clean as the last time we stayed in another room there. Carpet could use cleaning and bed had metal sticking out of the foot of the frame and my sister cut her leg on the piece of metal and banged her foot on it later the same night.

Despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the hotel staff knocked at 9 a.m., then unlocked the door with their key, and almost entered the room for cleaning. We were still in bed at that time. This is unacceptable!
And that wasn't the end of the story. An hour later, a housekieeping staff member again unlocked the door with their key, despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign, but couldn't enter because we had placed a door stopper.
