The Georgia Welcome Center off I-95 at the Florida-Georgia border has a bit of charm but is definitely showing its age. The building feels like a throwback to decades past, and unfortunately, it hasn't been well-maintained. The interior is pretty dingy, with not much more than outdated pamphlets and a general lack of cleanliness—especially the bathrooms, which were really in need of attention. As for dog-friendliness, it's practically non-existent. There's a tiny area designated for walking dogs, but most of the grounds are marked with "no pets" signs, which is frustrating when you're traveling with a dog, especially one as adorable as Steven Spielberg. While I appreciate the effort to have a welcome center, it’s not a spot I’ll be returning to. Three stars because it exists and provides a place to stop, but it could definitely use some major improvements. I wonder if Stacey Abrams administration would have taken better care of this?

We found a very clean and easy accessible rest area. We used their handicap parking whiz it's close to the main building and that made it very easy to get out and stretch our legs and use their restrooms. They have a good sending of vending machine snacks and drinks

This is a decent rest stop. The welcoming center was closed at the time that I arrived but everything was clean, the facilities were maintained. Only complaint I have is the sink runs for about a minute then it doesn't turn back on when you need to finish getting the soap off your hands.

Full of southern charm!

Very pretty architecture for a rest stop.

Plenty of outdoor tables, walking areas, and parking.

An excellent welcome center. The place is absolutely clean, and the parking space is very comfortable. They do have areas to ask for information, but I didn’t go there. The toilets are very clean, which is a very important factor for rest stops. Parking area also have lots of trees and lots of shades, good if you want to rest in your car. They also have seatings for picnic that are also comfortable.

The landscaping of the place is excellent.

Stopped here to use restroom. The visitor area closes so check hours if you want to go in and get info. Was a packed rest stops and bathrooms were nice but not the cleanest. Lots of people stop here for pet, so parking is tight. And they offer vending machines for food or drinks.

Nice place. Plenty of parking, walking areas, and vending machines.

The restrooms and the rest of the property seem to be well kept

Don’t let all of the “no pets allowed” signs fool you. There is a location where you can walk your ferrets, donkeys, or whatever you have. Oh and if you like birds...this place is for you! It’s like a scene from a Stephen King film.
