We went out for my annual birthday boating bash on Sunday and as usual it was amazing! Always the best time! Matt Sligh and his crew are top notch, the boat is always comfy and clean and always the very best fun time on String of Pearls! Thank you Matt for always making our trip so fun and special

My daughter hired for a sunset cruise for the two of us on the string of pearls catamaran.
Unfortunately they called us back and said that the boat was not going to be ready… The repair hadn’t gone as quickly as they had expected.
This was originally so disappointing. Captain Matt called us back and said that they did have a 25 footer if that would be an acceptable alternative.
We were thrilled! Not only did they give us the alternative when they were faced with something that they had no control, Captain Matt said that he was available whenever we wished and that he would make sure that we saw the sunset.
Captain Matt then made sure that we brought something extra warm as it was going to be cool out in the water.
We brought our rum punch and our charcuterie, and we were spoiled rotten.
We checked for dolphins and were very successful . Matt made sure to point out oyster beds and birds. We found out about local rivers and islands.
Matt even warned about rough seas for our drinks. He went out of his way to keep us out of the wind and we enjoyed every minute .
We will be back with our friends and family!

We went out for a birthday cruise with about 12 people. Mr. Matt and his crew are very respectful and extremely sweet and knowledgeable of the area.The boat is beautiful with plenty of room and perfect areas for pictures. We saw lots of dolphins along with a beautiful sunset. The sunset cruise was the biggest highlight of the birthday weekend. All of the girls enjoyed it very much, and I would absolutely consider doing it again. I strongly suggest this cruise, when visiting Saint Simons, or for any occasion. It’s absolutely worth it!

What a wonderful time we had on the String of Pearls sunset cruise! Captain Matthew, Captain Matt and Clint did a wonderful job; it was a perfect evening! They were pleasant, knowledgeable and so very accommodating. The cruise was beautiful and we saw many birds and dolphins!!! This is a must do when you visit St. Simons! Thank you for a great time!!

Had a memorable birthday evening on a lovely June night sunset cruise with Capt Matt and first mate Clinton.
Spoke with Capt Matt twice prior to the outing and he was always friendly and responsive. Capt Matt kept us updated the day of our sunset cruise because the weather was iffy with possible storms. Capt Matt has outstanding customer service and communication skills on top of captaining the ship safely while entertaining his guests.
Had some alcohol but no cooler and Capt Matt was able to put a bottle of bubbly on ice with some beer in the ships coolers.
Met two other couples aboard the same cruise who were lovely while viewing an amazing sunset, sights, a few porpoises, herons and the beautiful natural surroundings. Highly recommend!

This was hands down one of the most fun activities our family has ever done. Captain Matt was the perfect combination of knowledgeable and laid back. We boarded his center console and spent the entire day going through the rivers to Darien, hunting for shark teeth on undeveloped islands, swimming, looking at dolphins and alligators and so so many birds. I have recommended this to anyone who will listen ever since! 🙂
