A welcome start to your Jekyll Island visit, the welcome center provides a variety of local souvenirs ranging from Christmas ornaments to clothes to books from local authors. There are bathrooms available, as well as a lookout tower from which you can view the surrounding beach. Be sure to stop by, especially if you’d like to take home a little momento of the island.

Nice Guest information center with lots of gifts & souvenirs. Didn't camp at this park. There are lots of trees and narrow roads to camp sites. Just a few places in the "T" section to handle big rigs, but the other areas are a bit tight to handle big rigs with pullout slides & tight turns with low branches in some places. It was well packed with campers, and there was not a lot of room between each site. Our rig with a freightliner would be difficult in this state park. The Driftwood Beach is a place to certainly visit though!

We walked the beach here and drove the whole island. I think it's worth going back for a vacation!!! Driftwood Beach is worth seeing one time.

They had several different T-shirts, sweatshirts, glass balls, and other tourist gifts for Jekyll Island. There are also nice restrooms and a filtered water filling station for water bottles.

A nice variety of gift options. Guest book is available to sign in. The views from the look out tower were awesome. Clean bathrooms to use for a quick stop.

We are early birds so we rolled up before the Welcome center was actually open, and the Gate Keeper came over and told us that the restrooms were unlocked, freshly cleaned, and there was filtered water available-- Man, the bathroom smelled good, was clean, and for sure there was cold filtered water! Not to mention the overlook photo opportunity. Wonderful place! We will be back again!!!

I went to have a beach day but the water was dirty brown, so I refused to dip my body in that. I only put my feet in and left!!!!!!! I still took pictures though lol
