We had an amazing time!! The sky was beautiful and this was our first time seeing dolphins! It was a wonderful experience and our tour guides were really nice. It was truly amazing. We will definitely be coming back someday. Towards the end we got a tour of the harbor and got to find out a little bit of history about the boats :]

Fabulous dolphin boat tour! Both gentlemen were polite and hospitable, snacks and drinks are offered as well as binoculars for kids. All the dolphins you see are wild and untagged so it’s almost like a scavenger hunt to find the dolphins and the first moment you spot them is so magical! The way everyone perks up and their faces light up! It’s a thrill like no other! I highly recommend going early in the morning as that’s when they’re most active. We went around 12:30 and saw a pod of over a dozen dolphins with a few of their calf’s🐬 they are both highly informed of the community and offer history lessons and fun facts about the dolphins, the local area, the islands, as well as the Wanchese marina and its rich history!

Took the family out for the 3 pm tour today. Both the captain and mate were great. Very informative. We saw several dolphin pods that were coming together. All the dolphins are wild and not tagged. The kids had a great time. Highly recommend Harbor Star Dolphin Tours.

The best time! We did the 3 pm 2 hour dolphin sightseeing tour today. Kevin and his brother Beau were friendly, helpful, and communicative. The boat is brand new and equipped with a bathroom on board. Kevin shared tons of information about the Roanoke island sound area history, and was very knowledgeable about the marine life, yacht building, and other topics related to OBX. We saw a large pod of dolphins and also got to stop out at pelican island to see hundreds of pelicans! I Highly recommend choosing harbor star for your dolphin excursion!
