We visit Flagstaff once or twice a year and found out so much about downtown that we didn't know. And had some great food along the way. The tour guides are long time residents with a keen interest in the history and the future of Flagstaff and have great personalities; they quickly feel like friends. The downtown area is changing quickly, especially the area south of the tracks and the guides have the updates.

The food destinations, which can vary, were solid locations including a coffee shop highlighting pastries, roof top restaurant, Mexican, deli, and two sweets locations. Food is included in the tour pricing but beverages are optional. A couple of the spots do offer adult beverages.

This is a great way to spend an afternoon if you are visiting or a local looking to revisit the downtown area.

We experienced the Flagstaff Food Tour on Fri
Jul 14. Our tour guide Jeremy Carr could not have done a better job! He was personable, humorous, and had a great command of the history of the area. The variety and quality of the food tasted was exceptional. We loved the tamales, pastries, shrimp and grits, muffalatta sandwiches, and pizza. The finale at the Sweet Shoppe was yummy: gourmet rice crispy treats, gourmet caramel apples, toffee, and caramels finished off a perfect afternoon of getting to know the food scene in Flagstaff! We were welcomed warmly with great service at each of the estsblishments. What a great way to spend some time in the cool temperatures of the historic town of Flagstaff. This tour is only available on Fri and Sat. So it is a weekend event but SO good!

While we could all dabble and try the restaurants featured one at a time over the course of weeks or even months, Flagstaff Food Tours gives you an intimate experience with them in just hours – with behind-the-scenes knowledge and tips from the restauranteurs themselves. Super fun for singles, couples or for a girls outing!
