Stacy was amazing! When we reached out to her, we were not even sure of where to go for our vacation and she put together the best trip to Costa Rica! We had the best of both worlds with a totally pampering boutique resort and a very rustic bird sanctuary adventure. She listened to what both hubby and I were interested in and she nailed it! Of course, the beauty of Costa Rica did not disappoint. From the gorgeous (and sometimes harrowing) drives to the amazing people! We decided on day 1 that we will be going back AND we will definitely be using Stacy with Epic Sands!!!

My husband and I worked with Stacy from Epic Sands Travel to plan our bucket list trip to Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. Past travel advisors have left me hanging after booking, but that was absolutely not the case with Stacy. My wife and I engaged Epic Sands Travel (EST) to structure our recent European vacation. At the core of the trip was a 13-day Celebrity cruise from Amsterdam to Barcelona. We also worked with EST to expand our journey by 10 days to see more of Amsterdam, Barcelona and Paris. EST handled all bookings, transfers, accommodations, and tours so that the planning burden on us was very light. A few of the highlights of using EST were:
1. They found us international flights non-stop from/to San Francisco on our preferred airline and service class that were substantially less expensive than our initial inquiry.
2. When our requests necessitated a more local knowledge (such as boutique hotels), EST coordinated with a Europe based provider to identify a more tailored offering.
3. Booked specialty small/private activities such as Paella cooking class in Barcelona and croissant cooking class in Paris.
4. Stepped-in to book specialty shore excursions during the cruise when the cruise offerings were unavailable.
5. Provided all the travel itinerary details in a phone based app so that they were readily available while traveling.
6. Worked with their contacts at Celebrity to clarify changes that Celebrity was making with their portion of the itinerary.
7. Coordinated the processing of all payments along with reminders of upcoming deadlines.
8. For a requested activity that travel coordinators are not allowed to book (tour of the Anne Frank house), provided a detailed protocol and timing for obtaining the tickets that rapidly sell out.

Lastly, the communication during the entire process was excellent. EST initially interviewed us to understand our travel goals and responded quickly to our inquiries as the plans were taking shape.

Highly recommend the use of EST for booking your holiday. Whether you have specific objectives or only general ideas of what you may want (both were true for us), EST can fill-in the details and develop a structured travel plan.

My days of DIY travel planning have passed. Epic Sands Travel has arranged out annual winter getaway for the 3rd consecutive year - providing excellent destination and excursion recommendations, and saving us from the guesswork of sifting through the random array of results when you google "warm winter getaways". With Stacy handling and coordinating all the details, our only decisions are what to pack (we overpacked), what to wear (i.e., which coverup goes with which swimsuit), what to eat/drink (all of the goodness) and whether it is a beach or pool day (yes). Pre-departure travel guides, itineraries and updates, as well as frequent communication remove the stress and uncertainty of travel.
An airline scheduling snafu the day before our return - that would have meant hours on the phone for us - was resolved quickly with Stacy advocating on our behalf. We arrived home rested and refreshed and ready to plan next year's getaway!
