Highly recommend Tukit Tour ! We learned so much about Asheville history and current places. We loved getting off at Grove Arcade and Peter our guide walked us through and explained tidbits. We also loved that he walked us through the amazing Grove hotel with the rugged stones it was built with and the huge fireplaces and views from the back porch. The hot sipping chocolate complementary from our host was excellent. Such interesting authentic old buildings and neighborhoods with insights from our guide. So glad the trolley tour wasn't open most days of the week and we found this booth in the visitor center, recommended by one of the employees. We were glad we were the only people in the heated golf cart like vehicle instead of in a trolley car. We didn't have to figure out where it would be best to hop off and hop on and when we did, our guide explained everything we needed to know. Anyone visiting Asheville would benefit from this personal tour packed with information, history, and interesting sights. I feel like I know Asheville now!

TL;DR: PETER IS THE BOMB!!!!!! Full Review: Let's talk about how to have a great time in Asheville!! We had booked a long weekend trip without fully realizing just how many people visit Asheville. We really wanted a rooftop bar tour and the one that originated from our hotel was on a waiting list, so that is how we found Tukit, and we're so happy we did! I called on a Friday night asking if there was availability the next day because their website wasn't working correctly. First thing Saturday morning, we got a call and a text from Laban who was able to get us reservations for a rooftop bar tour, however he did tell us with such short notice, we may not get guaranteed admission anywhere. Regardless, a little later that day, we got a text from Peter, our Guide, letting us know he was on track to pick us up at our hotel at the agreed upon time. Once he got there, he let us know that they were not able to secure reservations at any rooftop bars but wanted to know our interests so he could make some suggestions and "make sure we had a great tour." I have to tell you, he totally delivered! We did get the rooftop bar experience at the Grove Park Inn, but also enjoyed him taking us around town and telling us about the history of Asheville. During our tour, we even got to see a black bear!! To top it all off, he took us to a food truck and local pub that topped off the whole experience. The whole time we were on the tour with Peter we felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. We will definitely repeat and would recommend him to anyone!

We had Jeff as a driver, who went above and beyond to make our very short, and first (but not last!) trip to Asheville outstanding. A perfect balance of history, fun facts, and restaurant and brewery recommendations. Will be coming back for another tour with family

We booked the tour for my daughter`s birthday. When we arrived there was a big Happy Birthday sign on the back of the Tuk.
We are residents of Asheville but the guide still took us to places we had not seen before and shared historical information that we had not heard before. Excellent experience!

Loved this experience so much, called last minute and asked if there was availability. Told them myself and wife had mild injuries and wanted to explore the town but couldn't walk all that much. They called their drivers and one had limited time but was happy to do it, her name was Tanya. She knew the town so well and drove us around for an hour telling us all about Asheville history, restaurants, stores, local eateries etc. Excellent service highly recommend if you're wanting to see all the town in a nice brisk almost bicycle ride in a way. Romantic feeling for me and my wife, had a great time, recommend bringing along snacks and drinks for yourself we did and that was helpful. Please remember to tip this is a really nice thing people do for others visiting and we greatly appreciate that Tanya found time to help us and it really made a difference for the rest of our vacation!

Peter was our guide and did a fantastic job of showing my wife and I a great tour of downtown Ashville. I would highly recommend Tukit to anyone who really wants to get a top notch tour of all the best stops as well as friendly and professional service to contact Tukit and ask for Peter. We learned and saw so much more of the city and it's history than if we had tried to do it without the tour. 5 stars for sure.

Jennifer took us on the Historic tour of Asheville, and it was our best experience here. She was friendly, knowledgeable and wanted to make sure we had fun along the way. For anyone wanting to see Asheville, we highly recommend a Tuckit tour; we will do it again the next time we are here.
