Beautiful and pristine Southern town with much to see and do. Homes and downtown are something out of Norman Rockwell with a Southern flair. We visited in the Fall and the autumn colors were beautiful. Some excellent shopping venues and very courteous sales folks. One caveat, the majority of the nicer restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday so if you are a foodie may want to plan your trip Tuesday thru Saturday.

Very friendly & helpful; she gave great recommendations for restaurants, shops, & activities. Madison's historic district is idyllic & well kept up. Everywhere we went, everyone was so kind & helpful. I could see the pride & joy they had in their town. We went to two different coffee shops & both times the coffee was delicious. I had soul food for the first time & it was perfect. We ate our way through in scrumptious pastries & chocolates. I even found red hot candies in the ice cream shop; long time searching for. I would highly recommend the walking tour to get a feel of the town & history. My favorite stop was the old part of the cemetery.
I would definitely come back! 10/10!

Mary Kay was friendly and very helpful. She shared a variety of activities to do in Madison. We ended up at the Rogers House/Rose Cottage. Ben, the tour guide, was fabulous. He shared all kinds of trivia and many historical facts about the homes. We ended up spending almost two hours there and learned much. Looking forward to going back to Madison on a sunny day to visit the historical cemetery as well as the tour of historical homes.

This is a great place to learn about Madison, Georgia's local history. The lady who works at the desk is very knowledgeable and kind. It is the only public restroom in town...so, I'm certain we will be going back if we ever frequent Madison, Georgia again.

Lots of brochures and maps available. The woman at the desk was very helpful and offered up some good suggestions for me as a first-time visitor to Madison. There's a helpful binder in the office that has a bunch of menus for local eating.

The staff person (I'm sorry I can't remember her name but we were there the afternoon of December 26, 2017) was extremely helpful and friendly. She gave my mother and I all the info we needed and more. We also enjoyed the beautiful building that the welcome center is housed in. Thank you for your hospitality.
