By all means, check out this visitor's center if you are in town. There is a lot of information on things to see and do in both Milledgeville and the middle Georgia area.

While visiting the center, this would be a great opportunity to walk around and see some of the historic buildings in town. There are some stunning antebellum homes in and around the visitor center.

The Visitor Center is a very cool building… the store and lounging area is decorated nicely. Couches and chairs (& the A/C) are lovely! The photo of the toilet is in the Visitor Center restroom. We took the Central State Hospital tour - Kerri Brown was a tour guide & Bill Smith was our driver. Both did an exceptional job & it was apparent that they love doing this (I’m sure not for a living) because they love history. A must if you are visiting this quaint little town!

We were not able to take service of the centre except parking but centre is a very cool building and our visit to Milledgeville was memorable stopover.

Took the Trolley tour of historic Milledgeville. The ride was comfortable. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The staff at the visitor center were great. It was a great experience for our family and a visitor from the U.K. He and my son returned the following day for the Central State Hospital trolley tour and gave it a glowing review. Thanks for serving our community and its visitors so well.

My husband and I took the state hospital tour on Saturday March 2nd. We enjoyed the tour so much we hated for it to be over. The guide was so interesting and informative not only about the hospital, but great information about the area.The driver was very nice and an excellent, careful driver. Well worth the price and the trolly is so cute!

Visiting Milledgeville was a truly wonderful experience after stopping by here! Anslee and Kirsten were extremely informative, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout my visit. The friendliness these two ladies provided literally made me feel like I was at home and no longer a visitor in Milledgeville! Along with providing exceptional advice on things to do in the area, they referred us to a local restaurant that was out of this world! Thank you Milledgeville and most of all thank you to Anslee and Kirsten! If you are visiting for the first time or even a return visitor looking for a new "spin" on things, I highly recommend stopping at the Welcome Center first as you will NOT be disappointed!

We took the Central Hospital Tour and it was amazing! We met at this location before the tour started. The staff were very nice and happily offered suggestions and recommendations for things to see and do while visiting. Definitely come or call here before planning your adventures!
