I thought we were going on a simple walking food tour. Yes, the food was fabulous but what we ate was only the “frosting on the cake.” The tour itself, Karen our guide, and all the interesting tidbits about the local area she shared were the highlights of the day! I’ve only lived in Tucson for about a year and a half so my knowledge of local history was limited. After taking this tour today, not only did I learn a lot about the local eateries in the downtown area, but also developed a new appreciation for downtown Tucson and its rich history. I can’t wait to take more excursions with my friends and further explore some of the downtown areas we learned about today. Thank you, Karen. It was a fun day!

I had the pleasure of participating in Tucson Food Tours' new Summer Progressive Dinner Tour and had an incredible time. The cuisine and experience were truly remarkable. Our guide, Brad, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Tucson and provided valuable insights into the city's stunning murals. We sampled five different dishes from five local restaurants, and I must say that the albondigas from Charro's and the brussels sprouts from Reilly's were absolutely delicious. Whether you're a Tucson native or just visiting, I highly recommend Tucson Food Tours for an unforgettable culinary experience. Their team is friendly, kind, and passionate about food!

We went on their new Summer Progressive Dinner Tour an had amazing time! Brad was extremely knowledgeable about the history of downtown Tucson as well as the stops during the tour. He told us stories of the past when Tucson was just a horse town, the history of the businesses along our tour, and about the families that started the establishments we visited.

Now.....the food!!!! OMG does Brad know where and what to pick. We visited 5 locally owned spots. Brad arranges a sampling of items from each stop and I must say he has amazing taste. The food at each of these places was absolutely delicious. We will post more about each stop in upcoming post, so stay tuned for those.

So whether you're new to the Old Pueblo, or born and raised, we highly suggest checking our one of the upcoming tours and help support multiple local stops in one outing.

We had a great experience with the Downtown Tucson food tour. Our guide Chris was very passionate and highly knowledgeable about every spot. Even though we opted for the vegetarian options only, we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. Highly recommend to anyone interested in learning about the local spots and some history.

This is the second tour I've done with done with my husband. The first was the 4th tour which left everyone in a good coma. This one, the downtown one, left everyone full but felt so much more enriching with Chris telling us about the history of Tucson and sending us to food establishments that support local business. I love this company.

We had a really great experience with Chris during a private tour that we booked. We were only in town for the night and wanted to learn all about the food of the city and he did not disappoint. All of the food was amazing. Drunken fish tacos from Cup Cafe were a favorite along with the honeycomb ice cream for Screamery. Definitely recommend!
