Chris knows Lake Lanier extremely well. He has lived on the lake for about 30 years and he had us on fish within 5 minutes of dropping the lines. The kids had a blast and Chris even played tour guide to show us where the filming for the show Ozarks occurs. Great time for our half day excursion. You won't be disappointed!

Best afternoon spent on the lake. Captain Chris is passionate and you can tell he really loves his work. His knowledge of the lake is outstanding. The highlight for my husband was getting up close to some of the filming locations of Ozark.

I've been on Lake Lanier for the past 15 years; out of all the fishing guides I've tried, Captain Chris is unquestionably the best. We went out on two half-day striper charters on successive mornings in late July, which proved to be very fruitful. Captain Chris picked us up from our dock with perhaps the most impressive vessel maneuvering skills I have ever witnessed. We hit plenty of spots, quickly switching between live bait, trolling with umbrella rigs, and throwing artificials whenever necessary. Captain Chris made it a point to explain the logic behind everything that we were doing and, more importantly, to teach us exactly how to do it in order to maximize our chances of catching fish, both with him and in the future. Although he was incredibly knowledgeable about both Lanier and fishing in general, our conversations were not limited to such; he was very relatable, so we were able to talk about practically anything. I found myself wanting to extend our trip to a full day, but unfortunately he was already booked for that particular afternoon. Captain Chris is passionate about what he does, to be sure, but his investment and interest in his clients is clearly his top priority. His outgoing and friendly nature, willingness to reach out and offer advice even after the trip is over, and of course, the great fishing, are in my mind what separates him from the the pack.

I used to have my own boat so my family and I have been on the lake a bunch. We have also been all over the lake so I thought I knew it pretty well. My night time fishing adventure with Captain Chris is probably the best time I have ever had on Lake Lanier. Fishing for stripe bass was a lot of fun but the most fun part of it was just hanging out with Captain Chris. His knowledge of the lake, his ability to maneuver on it, and various tidbits and history he knows about the lake are second to none. I highly recommend Lake Lanier Adventures and will be booking another trip soon.

Chris is in his element on the water and insures his clients have a memorable and safe day on Lake Lanier.

I have always had a awesome day on Chris's boat and his Everglades center console boat is rigged with all the technology for both fishing and enjoying a great day touring the Lake. His knowledge regarding the history of the lake and its changing landscape is incredible.

Chris lives on and fishes the lake almost every day of the year and is one of the most knowledgeable captains you could spend the day with. His passion for what he does is evidenced by the amount of preparation he puts into each trip to insure his clients have a great day on the pond!
